*two days later*
I opened my eyes and looked around. How did I get here? I slowly sat up but there was a pain in my stomach. I lifted my shirt and there was a scar. My head snapped to the door. Ryan and Allison walked in. They both looked at me.
"I'll go get Axel." Ryan said walking back out. Allison walked over to me.
"H-How long was I out?" I asked, my throat hurt whenever I talked.
"A few days," She said softly.
"I-Is Axel o-okay? I-I don't remember much."
"Axel is fine. He's been worried about you though." I smiled. I was getting ready to say something but Ryan and Axel walked in and Axel quickly hugged me. I smiled and hugged him back.
"Astrid I want to see your wings." Ryan said calmly. I looked down at Axel's hand that I was holding.
"P-Promise me y-you won't b-be mad."
"I promise." I sighed and relaxed some and had my wings come out. I heard Ryan gasp and he started to touch them. "What happened?"
"I used my wings to get out of the way and William pinned me to the ground and h-he took a knife and stabbed my soft spot and dragged the knife down from there." I said slowly almost in tears. My head snapped up when I saw Lalna and Ridge at the door. Lalna looked shocked, then he quickly left. Ridge sighed then walked over to me.
"Is it going to heal?" He asked gently.
"Yeah normally they heal fast but since William knew where the soft spot was it's going to take a lot longer than normal. And my healing magic doesn't work on wings." Ryan explained.
"Lalna's probably upset with me now." I said in tears. Axel squeezed my hand and smiled.
"It's going to be okay, he's going to have to understand."
"I don't think he's upset with you. He might just be a bit disappointed cause he really wanted you to teach him how to fly," Ridge said quickly.
"I-I should of ne-never fell for that t-trap."
"Astrid, it's fine. Lalna will get over it."
"No it's not I promised him that I would teach him and I let him down! It's not okay!" I snapped. "I keep my promises and I just broke one."
"Astrid you said you would heal right? You didn't break a promise you'll just have to wait awhile to do it."
"I said that they would heal." Ryan said with a smile. "By the looks it might take a couple of months he tore them pretty good. They really did a number to you Astrid."
"Um Ryan I don't think you're helping." Axel said butting in. I shook my head.
"I'm going to talk to Lalna." I said getting off of the table I guess that was what I was on. I tucked my wings away and went to go find Lalna. I finally found him and sat down next to him. "Hey." I said lowly.
"Hey," He said softly.
"I'm sorry that you had to see that."
"It's fine," He mumbled.
"Uh Ryan said that they would heal, it would just take a while for them to."
"How long?" Lalna asked curiously.
"Uh he said maybe a month or so cause with our wings they have soft spots. William knew where mine was and used it against me. I'm sorry that I can't teach you sooner than I thought that I could."
"It's fine," He sighed. "Are you ok?"
"I think I will be, but I'm not sure. My wings are like my life line they get me out of tough situations. Just as long as I try not to use my wings too much they should heal fine. I don't know much about wings I just know that soft spots take longer to heal than normal." He nodded.
