The Dark Hour

I pulled the clothes down and walked inside. I had things around here to do, and Axel is at work and I had shopping and some unpacking to do. This is just too much. I wonder how everyone else is doing. I made the bed and grabbed my phone and texted SKyla.

Astrid- Hey how is everyone doing?

Skyla- Everyone is fine, Ridge is slowly getting better but Ryan got sick

Astrid- that sucks he never gets sick, I'm glad that Ridge is doing better. Do you know how Seto is doing? Might come visit have nothing else better to do.

Skyla- I haven't seen Seto, I've been busy with Ryan and checking on Ridge

I sighed.

Astrid- Okay I'll probably see how they are doing here in a little I have some small things to do.

Skyla- Ok, I have to do something real quick so I'll talk to you later

I got done with some things around the house before I went to see Seto and Ty. I knocked on the door and waited or someone to open the door. Ty opened the door and he smiled.

"Hey Astrid, what's up?"

"Just came to check on you guys. How is everything?"

"Um ok, Seto's getting better."

"That's good, how are you doing?"

"I'm fine, I-"

"Ty." He turned around and Seto walked over to him. He saw me and smiled before he quickly hugged me. "Astrid! You're back."

"Yeah and I'll be visiting a lot more." I said hugging him back.

"That's good," He said softly. Something seemed off about him.

"Are you okay? Since you got the uh gash." He nodded.

"Yeah, um I've been having chest pains but it's getting better."

"That's good, sorry that I haven't seen you guys for awhile."

"It's ok, I was mostly just trying to get better anyways."

"That's good I'm glad you're getting better." He nodded.

"Yeah, I just have one more breathing treatment then I'm done with those."

"I bet you're happy about that. Just take it easy." He nodded.

"I will."

"Good we don't need you hurting yourself. I'm going to see how Ridge and Lalna are doing." I said ruffling up Seto's hair.

"Ok, I can try to come visit you later if Michael will let me."

"Okay." I sighed and walked away. I'm glad that they are doing better. I just don't want Seto to push himself too far. Ridge and Lalna are doing good. That's what Skyla said. I stopped when my phone went off. I looked to see who the caller was and it was from Ryan.

Ryan- do you think you can go to my place and get in my closet and grab the brown box.

Astrid- Why? I know you're sick but isn't Skyla taking care of you?

Ryan- yes but i have herbs in there that will help me get better faster so Skyla doesn't have to worry about me anymore.

Astrid- okay I guess I can get them for you

I sighed and headed back home, so I can get Ryan's stuff.

I made it to Skyla's and Ryan's place, and knocked on the door. After a minute the door swung open and Ryan was standing there. He was in sweats and a sweatshirt. He was pretty pale too.

"Demon cold?" He nodded. I walked in and sat on the couch and he sat down next to me. I handed him the box. He dug around and pulled out a few things. He started to crush things together, he put them in his hot tea and drank it all.

"I should feel better in a few hours." I sighed and nodded.

"You should be more careful, how many people have you healed?" He sighed.

"A few."

"You know you can't use your healing magic that much without getting sick."

"I know but I'll be fine I promise. How are you and Axel doing?"

"Pretty good, he's been going to work. I've been doing things around the house. Like cleaning, unpacking." He nodded. "I should get going, I'm making dinner and he should be home soon. Get some rest."

"I'll try." He said smiling. I gave him a quick hug before I went home.
