The Dark Hour

"Okay Lucifer said that the gang was somewhere over here." I said pointing to the map that I was holding. I hope Astrid is okay.

"So we should go in from the back." Layla said.

"Sounds good to me," Valerie smiled.

"But how are we going to find them?" Skyla asked. "This place could be huge for all we know."

"It's not that big, I did some time there before Castiel and Valerie found me after I escaped. Since Astrid is a Princess and she would be in the rooms under the cells." Layla said. "I'm pretty sure that Aaron would have Lalna either in the cells or he would be with Quentin or Gavin."

"Ok, so are we staying together or are we splitting up to get the both of them?"

"I say we split up, me and Valerie can either help Axel, and you and Ridge can go get Lalna."

"Ok, sounds good to me So should we meet up after we get them?"

"Yeah here take these just incase they are hurt we should take them back to the angel base." Layla said handing everyone beads. Ridge and Skyla each took two and Valerie had her own little bag. I took one. I hope she is okay, I don't want anything bad happened. But I should be prepared for the worst. I quickly shook my head and sighed. I shouldn't be thinking like that. Astrid is okay she's going to be okay. I clapped my hands to my cheeks and Skyla looked at me funny.

"Sorry." I mumbled.

"What are you doing?" She asked slightly confused.

"Sorry I just had some bad thoughts running through my head."

"Ok, well don't hurt yourself." I shook my head.

"I'll be fine I use to do it all the time when I was on the force."

"Ok, well they're going to be fine. Astrid can handle herself and I'm sure she won't let them hurt Lalna."

"Unless they are separated them who knows what they did to them. We're burning daylight." I said rolling up the map and walking off. Layla and Valerie caught up to me.

"Over here." We down a hallway, and Skyla and Ridge went to find Lalna. I stopped and I saw blood on the ground, I really hope this isn't Astrids.

"Don't worry it's old blood." Layla said reassuring. "Valerie are you okay?"

"Just a bit worried but I'm ok."

"We'll be fine, down here." She said opening another door we walked down a few more steps. "There's only three rooms. So she should be-" I stopped listening and went to one of the doors. I opened it and turned on the light and there was no one in ther.

"Axel!" I quickly went to Layla. "Is that her?" I looked in the room and saw Astrid hanging there, her hair that use to be white was caked in blood. Her leg was all bent weird and her shirt was ripped along with her pants. She was covered in stab wounds and bandages, with cuts and her eyes were swollen almost completely closed. How could they do this? I dropped everything and ran over to her. I could barely feel her pulse, and she wasn't really breathing. I felt tears streaming down my face. I looked around and couldn't find anything to break it with.

"Valerie do you think that you can break the chains?" Layla said softly. Valerie grabbed the chains and melted them with her hands.

"There you go."

"Thank you." I said quickly grabbing Astrid.

"Here take her and go to Gabriel, Val and I will go help Ridge and Skyla. Since Val is worried about Ridge."

"Wh-Who said I was worried about Ridge?" Valerie stuttered. "I barely know the guy, but I want to make sure they found there friend anyways so let's go." She quickly left.

"See ya there." Layla said running off. I laid Astrid down so I could grab the beads out of my pocket. I looked up when the door opened.

"Damn didn't think they did that much damage." I quickly pulled out my sword and pointed it at him. He smirked and he had a sword that was wrapped in bandages. "I'm not here to fight, I'm here to take this back to Lucifer." I nodded.

"He is at the castle." He nodded and walked off. I quickly placed the beads on the ground and grabbed Astrid and stomped on the beads.
