I was walking around the training yard, just watching some of the angels mess around others were training. I wanted to see Lalna but Allison told me he was sleeping. I sighed and rubbed my eyes.

"Ridge!'" Astrid yelled. I jumped and quickly got up.

"What!?"

"I'm bored!" I sighed.

"Ok, I thought someone got hurt for a minute," I sighed.

"No one has got hurt yet. Axel is in bed and won't talk to me, and Allison won't let anyone see Lalna, since I broke down the door."

"You what?"

"Uh well I was going to check on him and I heard him scream so I kinda kicked down the door."

"Is he ok?" I asked worried.

"Yeah he is fine, I got his arms wrapped up."

"What happened to his arms?"

"It looked like he was trying to get out of his skin but he's good now."

"He what? What do you mean by that?"

"Like his arms were all scratched up."

"He scratched up his arms again?"

"Yeah."

"Do you know what he dreamt about this time?" She shook her head.

"No, or he told me and I don't remember."

"Ok, does Allison know?"

"I don't know. Probably." I sighed.

"She-She's probably worried. Or mad that she didn't notice or wasn't there," I muttered. Astrid shrugged.

"So what are you doing?"

"Just wandering around."

"Ridge do you think that Skyla would want to be the godmother?"

"Maybe, I'm not sure."

"I'll ask when she gets back. I'm worried about Axel but I don't want to push him to talk."

"Then work up to it. Just start talking about something else then get to the problem."

"Okay, thanks Ridge." I smiled a bit.

"No problem."

"I should go be safe and careful." She said walking off. I sighed and watched the angels that were training. I heard something behind me but before I could turn around a girl popped up in front of my face.

"Heya there!" She said cheerfully. I jumped and just about fell over, that is I would have if she didn't grab my wrist. "Woah sorry, didn't mean to scare you there. Just wanted to say hi. You looked lonely over here."

"I-I'm fine," I said softly. "I'm just watching them train. I have nothing else to do." She looked at the angels then nodded.

"Oh them? A bunch of stuck ups if you ask me. They're always so serious with their training."

"Well we did just fight a war."

"Oh right, yeah that happened. Crazy wasn't it? Or were you not there?"

"I was there, it was kinda crazy."

"Yeah my friend got this pretty cool scar on her arm now. I didn't get any cause she made sure I didn't get hurt but it would of been really cool to have one. Just to show off to those nerds over there."

"I guess."

"Yeah, so whose faction are you in?"

"Faction?"

"Yeah faction, Hannah, Michael, Gabriel, or Castiel's?"

"I'm not in a faction," I said a bit confused.

"Oh, how old are you?"

"Seventeen."

"You have to be in a faction by now. They choose you when you're thirteen. How can you not be in a faction?"

"I-"

"Amy!" The girl sighed as another girl ran over to us. "There you are, I've been looking all over for you!"

"Ok, why?" Amy asked confused.

"What do you mean why!? Without me you would be in all sorts of trouble!"

"Ok ok, calm down P. I was just talking to this guy. He looked lonely." She looked at me and I smiled nervously.

"She's not bothering you is she?"

"No, not really," I said quietly.

"He's not in a faction and he's seventeen. Can you believe that?" Amy asked the girl.

"Are you sure he's even one of us?" The girl asked.

"Um, no. I didn't ask."

"Um excuse me," I said softly. "I think this is a misunderstanding, I'm not an angel. I'm a human."

"You don't seem like a human," Amy muttered. The girl jabbed Amy in the side. "Ow!"

"Amy that was rude!"

"Well he doesn't! I'm just saying."

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"Oh she's just talking about your height," The girl said quickly. "The humans we've seen are much shorter."

"Oh, it's just in my genes I guess."

"But-" The girl quickly covered Amy's mouth.

"We'll just leave you alone now. It was nice talking to you," She said quickly pulling Amy away. I blinked then sighed. That was weird. What did she mean anyways?
