The Dark Hour

Seto was training and I was bored. I knocked on Astrid's door and waited.

"Come in!" I opened the door and quickly came in.

"Hey Astrid, what's up?"

"Uh Ryan is giving Lalna the cure."

"He found the cure?" I asked a bit excited.

"Kinda I guess, but what's up?"

"Seto's training and I'm kind bored. So how long until Lalna gets better do you think it's going to be?"

"I don't know."

"Ok well what else has been going on?"

"Uh nothing really getting yelled at for doing things like normal."

"What did you do?" I asked confused.

"Things."

"Like what?"

"Uh I lied to Ridge, and tried to help Ryan and got yelled at."

"Ok well-"

"What the hell?!" I jumped and I saw Ridge run to the kitchen.

"What happened?" I asked worried.

"Astrid what the hell did you give me!?"

"The cure what else?"

"Well that's not the cure if anything it's making him worse." Astrid growled.

"I'm going to kill him." She mumbled under her breath and left. I was so confused. Ridge went back to the room he came out of with a bag of ice and I followed him.

"I got the ice," Ridge said quickly.

"I'll figure out what this is." Ridge held the ice pack on Lalna's head. His face was flushed and he was sweating.

"What happened?" I asked a bit worried.

"I gave him the so called cure and it made him worst."

"It did?" I asked alarmed. "Is there anything we can do?"

"I'm not sure. I think the only thing that can help him now is the cure."

"If we can't get that, then what?" I asked nervously.

"Either whatever I gave him could kill him or put him in a coma."

"What!?" Ridge asked freaking out. "What do you mean kill him!?"

"It's exactly how it sounds Ridge."

"No! Th-There got to be sometime we can do! I-I c-can't..." I saw his eyes start watering then he ran out of the room. Ryan sighed.

"There's nothing else I can do we just have to wait." I nodded.

"Is there something I can do to help him?" I asked softly.

"I don't think so."

"Ok, do you need anything?"

"I don't know, but for now it's no." I nodded.

"Ok, tell me if anything happens. I'm going to go find Seto."

"Okay." I quietly left the room and sighed. I was going to tell Seto about this.
