A current of nerves surged through me, palpable in the charged atmosphere that enveloped the room. The weight of anticipation lingered as a conspicuous omission hung in the air – my name had yet to be uttered.

When the tension reached its zenith, the twins finally directed their gaze toward me. Their devilish smiles spoke volumes, their eyes revealing a desire that sent a shiver down my spine. "Y/n... How have you been? We were concerned you might faint and injure yourself. The last time we met, you were abused dearly," Arthur's voice carried a genuine concern, mirrored by James as they scrutinized me for any signs of harm. The shift in their personalities was unsettling, leaving everyone disturbed by their sudden change.

Their inquiries prompted a polite response from me, "I-I am fine. Thank you."

"Well, at least your manners have become better since we last chatted. Now that all the introductions are given. Tea?" Miss Peregrine gracefully agreed, offering a smile to James as she directed the men to the living room.

In a display of nobility, Hyunjin gracefully took their coats and Arthur's cane to hang, orchestrating a subtle dance of hospitality. The visitors settled into two-seated furniture, with Miss Peregrine occupying her usual rocking chair. Felix, Changbin, and Hyunjin found their places on additional two-seated couches, each claiming a spot in the calculated choreography of the room.

The youngest members opted for the floor, maintaining a safe distance from the visitors and nestling closer to Miss Peregrine, forming an enclave with the Minsung couple. Chan occupied his own single sofa, and I assumed my role as the tea bearer, navigating the room with a tray of warm honey tea.

As everyone cautiously eyed each other, a silent telepathic communication unfolded, particularly evident between Changbin, Hyunjin, and Felix. Changbin's hand betrayed his latent anger, sparking slightly as Felix endeavored to pacify him without revealing any pertinent information.

During the tea-pouring ritual, my gaze caught the attention of the youngest two. Jeongin clung to Miss Peregrine's lap, fingers gripping her dress with a fervor that spoke of anxiety. Seungmin, on the other hand, radiated nervousness, haunted by unsettling flashbacks. In a subtle exchange, I signaled for Seungmin's attention, offering a reassuring smile and mouthing words to calm him down. The effect was tangible as he took a deep breath, redirecting his focus away from Arthur and James.

Meanwhile, Minho had positioned himself protectively close to Jisung, their proximity almost resembling a comforting embrace. Jisung, visibly nervous, fidgeted with his fingers as they engaged in a whispered conversation about the unfolding situation. Sensing Jisung's unease, Minho tactfully steered the conversation toward more soothing topics, shielding him from the discomfort of the moment.
