4: Domino

"Why so blue?" 

Izumi looked up to see a man with Royal Blue hair and brown eyes looking at her while he was sitting on a bench. 

"Aster..." 

"Mind joining me for a little chat, you seem a little down today more than usual." he suggested. 

Izumi sighed and walked over to the bench and sat down. 

"Hah- today was just another big mess up." 

"Let me guess, you let another human possessed spirit go and Chevy yelled at you for it?" Aster asked. 

"Wow, you really are good at guessing." Izumi said, trying to sound sarcastic. 

"Hmph, you forget that I can see and talk to spirits just like you can, right?" Aster said. 

"Oh yeah, I still can't forget the day we met and you were talking to spirits like it was normal."

( Flashback )

After her first week of her new job of working at the Metropolitan Police Department, Izumi was walking home and could see all the spirits she walked past that night. 

'Looks like a lot more spirits are out tonight, I wonder why.' Izumi thought. 

She turned her head to see a bench and thought it would be a good idea to take a quick break and catch her breath. 

'Hah- what a day.' 

"Looks like you had a long day."

Izumi turned her head to see a man with Royal Blue hair and brown eyes staring at her. 

"Ah- y-yeah. New job." 

"Hm, I see. Are you a Police Officer?" 

"In a way, yes." 

"Which station do you work at?" 

"The Metropolitan." 

"Ah- so you must be under the command of Chevy, right?" he asked.

"Ah- yes, Chevy Niurus, how'd you know?" 

"I have a friend who knows him." he said with a smile. 

Izumi looked closer at this man she was sitting next to. 

He seemed a few years older than her, but he was pretty interesting to analyze. He had tattoos that looked like chains covering both his arms, he looked to have a pretty good build of muscle, and she slowly looked down and froze. 

"Ah- your legs..." 

He looked down at his legs and made a subtle smile, and placed his hand on his knee. Not one but both his legs were made of metal prosthetics. 

"Yeah, I lost them from a pretty bad accident when I tried to save a few people from a burning building. It didn't help that there was a power line that fell and shocked the nerves to fry in my legs. But I'm fine now." he said.

"Ah- that must've been hard." 

"Yeah, but we all have to get back up and continue living the best we can." he said. 

"Umm..." he looked at the greenette. 

"What's your name?" 

"Oh- It's Aster..." he paused and held out his hand. 

"Aster Iyasu." 

"Aster... Izumi, Izumi Midoriya." Izumi said, shaking his hand. 

Izumi looked at the time and realized how late it had gotten.
