185: Escape Room

Izumi and Aster tracked down the location of where Katsuki had been taken to and Izumi could already tell bad things were at this abandoned warehouse. 

"So Kacchan's in there?" 

"Yes, but it would be better if we wait for Anastasia or Chevy to get here with some backup, Ryogae is not someone to deal with alone. Have you been able to send them our location?" Izumi checked her phone, but because they were out of the city, there wasn't any service anywhere. 

"Aw man, I can't get any service out here, I haven't been able to send them the address of where we are." 

"Then you stay here." 

"Are you gonna go find the Captain and Chief and bring them here?" 

"I have no choice, but stay out here and do not get any closer to that warehouse. It will not take me long for Anastasia or Chevy to find me since I am in my spirit form, but you must stay out here." Aster said as he turned around and ran back from where they came from.

'Stay here until they get here? How long will that take, and what if they get here and Kacchan's badly hurt, or worse-' The greenette shook the thoughts out of her head and turned to look back at the abandoned warehouse. 

'If I go in, who knows if something bad will happen to me, but if I don't... something bad will happen to Kacchan. What should I do?'

Ikari finished tying Katsuki to the chair and wiped his hair out of his face. 

"Geez, he's heavier than he looks. And all of this would've been taken care of days ago if the Dragon didn't stop me from taking this guy's life." Ikari said. 

"It was foolish of you to think of doing something like that on a Reaper's property, you know that." Ryogae said, typing on his computer. 

"Eh- it's not like that doctor was gonna do anything, and besides, the Dragon's powers have weakened sense she decided to rewind time and fix everything. That was the only chance I had, so I took it." Ikari said. 

"Humph- wait-" 

Ryogae caught a glimpse of something on his computer as his computer showed different camera views from around the warehouse. What he caught from a glimpse was a greenette standing at a distance from the warehouse and a sliver of what he thought was Blue and White fur.

"I thought you said no one would find us here?" 

"What're you talking about?" Ryogae turned his computer around for Ikari to look and he saw what Ryogae saw. 

"Well I'll be damned, looks like someone followed us. Wait a second-" 

"That someone that followed us was Akane's assistant and the Special Case girl!" Ryogae exclaimed. 

"I can see that, but it looks like that stupid dog left the girl behind." 

"Which means he'll come back with the Reapers any second now! I knew I shouldn't have asked you to help me! Ryogae said as he stood up from his seat. 

"Chill out, we can fix this, and it's an easy fix." 

"How?" 

"Just sit here and wait, I'm gonna fix all of this." Ikari said and left. 

'I still don't know why or how Ikari became a Shinigami when he's reckless and always causing trouble for the rest of us. Akane was a better Shinigami out of all of us.'
