193: Sacrifice

"Izumi, Katsuki, are you two o-" 

Aster bust the door open and went silent at what he'd seen. Izumi and Katsuki were fine, but Nozomu, on the other hand, was not. Nozomu had his hands cuffed behind his back and was beat the crap out of as he sat on the floor and looked dazed and confused. 

"Ah- You two... fought Nozomu?" 

"Well yeah, these Shinigami are a pain in the ass, and Deku thought the same thing." Katsuki stated.

 "Huh, never thought I'd see the day where a Shinigami is beaten by brute force." Aster noted. 

"D-Does that mean everyone was evacuated from the school?" Izumi asked.

"Everything's fine." Lily said, entering the room. 

"Lily." 

"Because of your quick thinking–and the help of asking a student–everyone was evacuated from the school as soon as we got here." Lily said. 

"'We'?" 

"Mn. Chevy, Anastasia... and well all the Reapers got here to help since we were told the situation was gonna get bad. Turns out we probably didn't need all that backup." Aster said. 

"Oh, but that's good to hear that nothing bad happened to the students." Izumi responded. 

"Then let's get out of here, and I need to take this one back to the Spirit Realm, as I'm sure he won't be messing with you two again, anytime soon." Lily stated as she grabbed Nozomu and dragged him on the floor.

"You okay, Deku?" 

"Ah- mn. I'm a lot better now." she answered as she grabbed his hand. 

"Your hands are pretty red." 

"Well, I was just a little frustrated, that's all. I'm tired of people trying to take my man away from me." she mumbled with a huff. 

"Hmph, I don't like being taken away from you either." he said as he pecked her forehead. 

"Let's go, I'm sure the Chief and Captain want to speak to us as soon as we leave." 

"Tch- of course they do, because something always happens to us." Katsuki huffed. 

"At least we're not badly injured and have to go to the hospital this time." 

"Don't jinx us..."

After walking out of the school, Izumi apologized to everyone for basically halting classes since she wanted to make sure everyone was safe. Izumi's classmates were still in awe as Katsuki remained right by the greenette's side and held her hand tightly so he wouldn't lose her. 

Kaiji noticed it too, but he basically acted like he didn't see it as everyone was heading back inside the school. While everyone was heading back into the school, it was time for Izumi and Katsuki to report back to the Station like usual. 

"Though I shouldn't be surprised that you two managed the situation, it was a Shinigami and not a member of the League that you beat to a pulp. I should be mad that you did hurt him, but Nozomu did deserve it so at least you two managed to detain him before Lily got there." Chevy said.

"So where's Lily now?" 

"Lily had to take Nozomu back to the Spirit Realm, and I think she said something about talking to the other Shinigami while she's there. I highly doubt they'll give her any good information since they've always been difficult to talk to." Anastasia answered.
