My Pawfect Rebirth

24: Odd

Izumi woke up the following morning with her head wincing in pain. 

"Ow- my head... Hm? When did I get home?" Izumi said, looking around to see she was in her bedroom. 

'Who took me home last night? Eh? I smell like alcohol!" she yelled and jumped out of bed and straight into the bathroom to take a shower. Katsuki could hear the greenette yelling in the other room and slumped his head onto the couch. 

'Deku just had to do something weird and stupid last night, and just when I was a human.' he thought and felt himself blushing with embarrassment.

( Flashback )

'What... What the hell just happened?' Katsuki thought as he lay there frazzled and feeling his heart beating out of his chest. 

And right when he wasn't sure what to do at this point, he poofed and turned back into a dog. 

'Well at least I'm a dog now- wait- THAT'S A BAD THING!!!' he thought. 

Since he turned back into a dog, he was now getting crushed by the greenette as she was still lying on top of him. 

'Arg- I'm not staying like this all night.' he thought and turned his body over and jumped off the bed and looked up to see the greenette was still asleep. 

'Deku's been weird before, but nothing like this. I'm not sure if I should forget what Deku said or not, but that was weird too. Now I know Deku shouldn't get drunk again.' Katsuki thought.

He stumbled out of the bedroom and jumped onto the couch and laid down. 

'Even when we were kids, Deku never said anything that crazy before, but...' he thought and remembered what the greenette said just minutes ago. 

"It's only a matter of time before I can be turned back into a boy, but I don't wanna lose you again, Kacchan." "Why can't you just like me for who I am... at least do that... then I wouldn't feel this scared..." 

'Does this really mean Deku will turn back to normal eventually too? Arg- I'm still fucking confused on why Deku decided to fucking kiss me!!!! This is annoying, why the hell did Deku do that?!?!' he thought as he couldn't pick heads or tails on what was happening.

( Back to Present )

After a quick shower, Izumi walked out of the bathroom in fresh clean clothes and pulled her hair into a high ponytail. 

"Ah- I really should be careful not to strain my hand too much. Hmm... What should we do today?" Izumi said, looking over at the dog sitting on the couch. 

"Oh Kacchan, you might not understand me, but do you know if I did anything stupid last night?" Izumi whispered. 

Katsuki froze, she doesn't remember anything? 

'Did she really get that drunk to completely forget that she kissed me? Well, then again, I'd rather her not remember that.' Katsuki thought.

"Mmmh, doesn't look like you'll be able to answer me. Maybe I can ask Aster later since I guess he was the one who brought me home. Hm, though I'm not supposed to come back to work until Monday... it wouldn't hurt to see if there's any cases I can try and help with. Oh- maybe they can let me go to the interrogation room if possible." Izumi said. 

'And of course Deku's as stupid and delerious as always. What can't we just stay home and do nothing today? My bruise is gone now, but I don't wanna walk all fucking day.'

So, Izumi and Katsuki left the apartment for the day and headed straight to the Police Station.
