129: Whimsical

Izumi and Katsuki stood in front of the building and were speechless as to what they were standing in front of. 

"This is not... what I was expecting at all." 

"Nope."

Izumi and Katsuki were standing in front of what appeared to be a Tea shop, and what made this strange was the fact that Emra told them they'd meet a Grim Reaper here. 

"What kind of Reaper are we about to meet?" Katsuki questioned. 

"Not sure, but we shouldn't waste anymore time and see who this Reaper is. I wonder just how different this Reaper is from all the others we've met before." Izumi said and pulled the door open. 

They entered the tea shop and it appeared bigger on the inside. Though the outside of the tea shop was painted in pastel colors of Blue, Pink and Purple, the inside was bright and vibrant Summer colors like Red and Yellow.

'This is really different...' Izumi thought. 

"Welcome." 

The greenette and blond turned their attention to see a man with Snow White hair and Deep Blue eyes, but this man appeared to also have a pair of Rabbit ears resting on their head and a White fluffy puffball of a tail. 

"Oh- hello." 

"Welcome to our Tea shop; Tea O'Clock, as it is always time for tea here. I am Kaoru Lilac, and it seems you are the Special Case we've heard so much about." the man said with a subtle bow. 

"Ah- yes, I am, Izumi Midoriya. We were told to come here by my cousin?" Izumi asked.

"Of course, my Master has been expecting you, so please follow me this way." Kaoru said and took the lead through the large shop. 

"What's up with this guy?" 

"Kacchan, be nice. Kaoru must be the assistant to this Grim Reaper. Let's just listen to what they have to say and then we can go. We only came here because Emra told us to." Izumi whispered, Katsuki huffed. 

"Do people come to this shop often?" Izumi asked. 

"Yes, humans and spirits all come here. Though humans can't usually see spirits, they have the ability to see spirits inside this shop. And though you'd think that is a terrible idea, you are mistaken, as humans can not see spirit's animal features or any kind of Supernatural appearance of a spirit. The spirit only appears as human when in our shop." Kaoru said. 

"Huh. I didn't really think about that. So that means you don't need to hide your animal features as a rabbit, right?" Izumi asked. 

"That is correct."

They stopped in front of a large White door that had a Golden brass doorknob, and the second the rabbit assistant knocked on the door, a face appeared on the doorknob. 

"What the-" 

"What is it, you are interrupting my tea party?" a voice said through the doorknob. 

"Forgive me, Master, I know I'm very late, but we have some guests that have come for the party. It is the Special Case, Master." Kaoru said with a bow. 

There was a long pause and suddenly the door opened on it's own and the sound of footsteps echoed and were approaching them.

"Ah- a new guest for the tea party, how exciting." a young but energetic female voice announced. 

Izumi tried to focus on this person approaching them, and as soon as she heard the footsteps stop, she looked down to see a young girl standing in front of her.
