69: Merry Christmas!

"I accept."

He stared at the greenette and wasn't exactly sure what she was talking about. 

"Uh- accept what?" 

"I accept dating you." he froze. He had to sit up from the bed and look at her. 

"You mean- you want to-" 

"I want to be your girlfriend, Kacchan. So I accept."

He felt dumbfounded, he'd expected that she turned him down after what happened last night, but no, she was accepting his proposal. 

"Y-You mean it?" 

"Uh huh! And though you and I both know that I was born as a boy, it's at least worth trying to date... right?" she said. 

Katsuki was surprised, but he sighed and rested his hands onto her shoulders. 

"Yah- Deku." 

"Hm?" He leaned down and pecked the top of her forehead. 

"Oh? What was that for?"

"Because I don't care what or who you are anymore, you're Deku, you're my Deku. I will always like you, okay?" 

Izumi was speechless and it was evident that his words hit her in a way since tears formed in her eyes. 

"Y-Yah! Why're you crying now?" 

"Because I don't care who or what you are either! Just because you turn into a dog doesn't mean I don't like you! I'm just happy being with you, Kacchan!" she cried and jumped into his chest and hugged him. 

"Geez, don't need to cry about it." he said, wrapping his arms around the greenette. 

"So... does this mean we're dating now?" 

"Tch- what d'you think?" 

She lifted her head off his chest and felt him rest his hand onto her cheek. He pecked her cheek and she giggled a little.

"So what should we do today?" she asked. 

She didn't hear a response from him, but instead, she felt both of their bodies fall back and they were lying back down in bed. 

"Oof- Kacchan- what're we-" 

"Nothing." 

"Hm?" 

"We're not doing anything today." 

"Huh? B-But Kacchan, it's Christmas, we should do something-" 

"I'm tired, and after everything that happened yesterday, I don't feel like doing anything today." Katsuki said and he closed his eyes. 

"Oh... that's true." 

'I was expecting us to go on an actual date to fix everything that happened yesterday, but... this is okay too.' she thought and snuggled up to him. 

"Sleep is good too." she said and closed her eyes.

And just when the greenette got comfortable sleeping against the blond's chest, her phone started going off. Katsuki sighed, because this wasn't an alarm this time but a phone call. 

"If you're not gonna answer that, I'll smash your phone to shut up." 

"Okay okay, just one sec." She tried to sit up and grabbed her phone to see it was her mom calling.
