Izumi walked through her apartment back and forth and still wasn't sure how everything ended up the way it did the night before.
'Kacchan kissed me, but of course he was drunk so he couldn't control himself, but...' Izumi thought about what Katsuki said after they kissed and how he sounded desperate and willing to do something.
"I don't... wanna lose you... Deku..."
'Was he thinking back to when he saved me from jumping off the roof? But there could've been other reasons why he said that, but it wouldn't make sense because he doesn't have his memories from his past life, unless...'
Izumi was perplexed by the thought, she wasn't sure what was the truth, what was a lie, what was real and what was fake.
'The only person I know that can answer this would be...'
The greenette grabbed her phone and looked through her contacts and clicked on who she was planning on calling and waited for an answer.
"Hello?"
"Emra, it's Izumi."
"Izuku? What's wrong? You don't usually call me this early in the morning."
"I... I need your advice–well, not advice–but I need to hear your thoughts." Izumi answered.
"My thoughts? About what?"
"I think... Do you think you have time to come here and see me in person about this situation I'm in?" Izumi asked.
And just in mere seconds, there was a loud knock echoing on the front door and the greenette glanced over.
"Ah- hold on, someone's at my door." Izumi said.
"I know." Emra said.
"Huh? Was the knock that loud you could hear it through the phone?" Izumi asked, walking towards the door and unlocked the doorknob.
"No, it's because..."
Izumi slowly opened the door and had to bat her eyes a few times to see the one-Emerald-Green-eyed greenette holding the small technical box up to her ear and looking down at Izumi.
"Ah- Emra." She watched as Emra ended the phone call and looked back up at her.
"In case you forgot, I can teleport myself anywhere I need to go." Emra stated.
"Right... I almost did. Oh, come in since you're already here." Izumi said, opening the door for her to enter.
After Izumi managed to get some time to make some tea for her 'cousin', she and Emra sat on the couch and Izumi knew that Emra could possibly help her out with her confusion.
"So, it seems you're already used to this new and different life of yours–even though it's only been 2 days–yes?" Emra asked.
"Y-Yes, it's really different from what was supposed to happen in the past." Izumi stated.
"That's probably because the spirits haven't been a big problem in this life like they were in the past. So has anything changed now that you're restarted working with Chevy and Anastasia?"
"M-Mn. I had to do field work on the first day, and... I somehow got the chance to see and meet Yui too. She appeared completely different compared to my past life." Izumi said.
"The only reason Yui appeared different in this life compared to your past is because Yui had just been fired by Mamoru in this life so she hasn't been driven by madness yet. She hasn't used her poison at its full potential yet, so she still appears as a sweet and gentle, caring spirit in this life." Emra said.
