37: The Red Line

"Tell me the truth of what?"

Lily and Iris slowly turned their heads to see Emra; AKA the Emerald Dragon, standing there with her left arm resting on her hips and her gaze as intense as always. 

"E-Emra-" 

"Well I didn't expect you to come to the Human Realm today. How've you been?" Iris said. 

"I've been well, but I didn't come here just to drop by. Hello Lily, when's the last time you and I had a talk?" Emra said, as her tone was almost threatening. 

"It has been a while..." Lily muttered. 

"I noticed you weren't at the recent meeting with the other Reapers like I asked, any reason why?" Emra asked. 

"I was busy that night and couldn't come." Lily said, averting her gaze from the greenette.

"I see... then I'm sure one of the other Reapers told you what you missed, as I spoke about the Special Case as well." Emra said. 

"Ah- I remember hearing about that." Lily said. 

"Care to tell me the truth now, it's been 7 years since that day. You and I both know you didn't do it without a reason, because I know that you know that you can't give a human a second chance at life." Emra said. 

"I know." 

"So... will you finally just tell me who the human you gave a second chance to?" Emra said. Lily stood there, her hands shaking, she hadn't been this scared in a long time, even if she's a Reaper. 

"The thing is- I had no choice! As much as I didn't want to do it, I knew you'd be mad at me if I didn't do it!" Lily yelled. 

"Oh? And what makes you so sure about that?" Emra said, slightly cocking her head to the side.

"Lily, I'm back!" 

Lily jolted her head, it was the voice of Aster. 

'Aster, what's he doing here? No- why's he here when he should've smelled Emra's presence here!' Lily thought. 

"So this is your work place? I never expected you to work at a flower shop." Lily froze, she recognized this female voice, and as much as she wanted to keep her assistant and this other voice out of Emra's presence, it was already too late. 

The door opened and the sight of Izumi was seen by all three ladies. 

"Oh? Well there's a surprise." Iris stated. 

Izumi looked at Lily and pointed right at her. 

"Ack! You're the one that did this to me!!!" Izumi yelled, Emra's left eye went wide. And soon both greenettes made direct eye contact and Izumi recognized her right away.

"Oh? Emra?" 

Emra blinked a few times to process who she was looking at as slowly pointed at the greenette. 

"I...Izuku?"

( Meanwhile in the Spirit Realm )

Katsuki felt how heavy his body was and it felt like his head was restricted by something. 

"Ha? Looks like the dog's awake." a man with Black hair and burn scars said. 

"Wakey wakey, come play with us~!" a girl with Ash blonde hair in pigtails said. 

"Why the hell do we need this dog anyway?" a lizard man said.
