41: Listen to Me

Chevy and Anastasia were still at the Police Station trying to figure out the results as to how exactly Mange escaped that only led to their death. 

"There aren't a lot of snake spirits that can use abilities like this." Anastasia said. 

"No, but this can't be the first time we've dealt with a snake like this. The poison marks left on Mange's body indicate that we've dealt with this spirit before, the problem is figuring and finding out where they are." Chevy said. 

Just as they were about to look in their files of past cases, Midori and Annabelle burst through the office. 

"Midori, Annabelle, what's up with you two?" Anastasia asked. 

"It's-" 

"Aster just got back from the Spirit Realm carrying Midoriya and one of the members of the League!" Midori yelled. The room went silent for a few seconds until both the Chief and Captain realized what was just said. 

"What?!?!"

They ran out of the office to see Aster slowly walking into the Station and everyone watching was in awe. 

"Aster." 

Aster looked up to see them and smirked. 

"Figured you two would still be here. While you guys were taking care of that case with the deceased League member, me and Izumi went to the Spirit Realm and got Katsuki back. Along the way, we also captured a member of the League. He might not look it, but this is Spinner." Aster said, as one of the Officers grabbed Spinner off Aster's shoulder. 

"That's Spinner?" 

"Seems he turned back into a human once his spirit was extracted." Aster said.

Chevy and Anastasia looked to see a Splendor Lily flower resting in the ruffles of Spinner's scarf. 

"A Splendor Lily?" 

'So Sebastian extracted his spirit, how'd he even know to go to the Spirit Realm in the first place?' Chevy thought. 

"Anyway, I gotta take Izumi and Katsuki to the hospital since they both inhaled a lot of heavy flames and fumes." 

"Flames and fumes? Hold it, Aster!" Anastasia yelled. 

That stopped Aster in his tracks, because this meant he had to explain everything before he could leave the Station. 

"Mind explaining to us what happened? Why did you two go to the Spirit Realm?" Anastasia asked in a stern tone. 

Aster looked around and noticed how everyone was staring at him in shock.

"Hah- it'd be better if we talked about this in your office, Chief." Aster said.

Chevy knew what Aster was doing, Aster was hiding something, but he didn't want the entire Station to know about it. 

"Hah- very well, Midori, Annabelle, take Midoriya and the dog to the hospital and have them get checked by River." 

"Yes sir." Both assistants got the unconscious greenette and dog from Aster and walked out of the Police Station, and Aster went into the Chief's office.

Aster sat in the chair and knew this was not a question and answer situation, but an interrogation. 

"Now, can you please tell us as to why you and Midoriya went to the Spirit Realm in the first place?" Chevy asked. 

"Hah- let's just say we got a little intel from a spirit." Aster said.
