85: Immune

Emra pulled her sleeve on her left arm to reveal a pair of snakes that were wrapped around her arm. 

"Woah- I almost forgot you told me you have tattoos, Emra!" 

"That's not all." Emra said, and the snakes on her arm started glowing Neon Pink and Neon Green. 

And suddenly Saeko popped out from thin air. 

"Hiya!" 

"Ack- S-Saeko?!? How did you- wait-" 

Izumi noticed something was different about Saeko since the last time she saw her. 

Saeko's hair wasn't Chocolate Brown but Neon Pink with Neon Green highlights and this time she wasn't wearing a leather jacket, so she could see the same exact snake tattoos wrapped around Saeko's arms.

"You- You changed, you look different from before." 

"Hmph, had to keep my identity a little secret from Yui before things got out of hand. But after she bit your boyfriend, I had to show my real self, even though this isn't my real body." Saeko said. 

"Not your real body?" 

"Saeko was one of my friends back when I was still human, and after her human body passed away, I basically turned her into a Demon Spirit and rested her soul onto me and turned it into a tattoo. So I'm able to summon Saeko as long as I have her tattoo on me, which is why it looks like we both have the same tattoo, except I have both her tattoos on my left arm while she has hers on both arms." Emra said.

"So then..." 

Izumi tried to think and remembered back when she and Katsuki found Masaru poisoned and Emra came and had a Neon Pink extract the poison out of his body. 

"Does that mean... Saeko was that same snake from that incident with Kacchan's dad?" Izumi asked, pointing at Saeko. 

"Yup! That was me!" 

"Eh- you really were that snake, no wonder your name sounded familiar when you introduced yourself to me earlier!" Izumi yelled. 

"Saeko's not the only friend I have that I've their soul attached to my body." 

"Huh? Who else is attached to you?" Izumi asked.

"That Black Wolf you met back then, that was Takashi, he was my partner. There are two more of our friends connected to me, but you won't meet them right now since it takes a lot of my energy to summon them." Emra said. 

"Huh? But I thought you said you are immortal?" 

"That doesn't mean I don't get tired like a real human. Like I said before, it can take a lot of energy for me just to have my right arm appear like this, so you will meet our other friends soon." Emra said. 

"Oh, okay then..." 

"Hmph, if only you were there back then when Emra and I were humans, she was really cool and awesome to watch when she fought!" Saeko said. 

"U-Um, I thought Emra's always been cool since the first time I met her. And though she's not really my cousin, I still think she's cool." Izumi said. 

"Yeah that's true, Emra's always been cool! Hm- oh- is Emra blushing~?" 

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Oh yeah- whatever happened to Yui? After I got angry and my powers blocked my memory, I don't remember anything that happened to Yui at that time." Izumi said. 

"Hah- Saeko was the one that took care of Yui, I didn't. I was trying to calm you down, so I asked Saeko to take care of Yui. So can you tell her what happened?" Emra said.
