151: If Only

As the two of them were walking through the almost empty night streets of Japan, both remained silent and walked side by side. Though there was a small and slight breeze, it was nice and cool for the spring weather. 

The neon lights sparked brightly around them, and the sweet and savory smells of all kinds of delicacies lingered around them but not to the point it would make their mouths water. It was a clear sky and the sun had left the sky not long ago, but the stars were already in sight and the Moon was full and vibrant and relaxing to gaze upon.

Both the greenette and blond would take quick glimpses at each other every once in a while, but nothing too special. 

"This day... went by really fast, honestly..." Izumi mumbled. 

"Yeah..." 

Katsuki didn't know what to say at this point because he just didn't want to lose sight of the greenette at this point. 

"Is..." 

"Hm? Is what?" She looked up at him and just seeing her innocent face made him blush. 

"Is your neck... feeling okay?" he nervously mumbled. 

"My neck? Oh yeah, it's not as swollen as before, but I'll probably put some ice on it before I go to bed tonight. Thanks for asking." Izumi said happily. 

"Yeah..."

"So where do you live? You were almost late to our first day this morning." Izumi stated. 

"I live... uptown, and I almost forgot I was starting today. It was busy when I tried to get to the Station, that's why I got there late." Katsuki answered. 

"Oh, I see. I'm lucky I moved closer to the Station once I was told I was getting the position. I haven't been living at my new apartment that long, but I've gotten used to it." Izumi said. 

'So does this mean she's still living in the same apartment from the past?' Katsuki thought.

Izumi looked around and recognized the area they were in and turned her head and saw a very familiar bench and a man with Dark Royal Blue hair sitting there. 

'That's... That's Aster. Hmph, looks like I won't be meeting him this time, but it's not like I was planning on meeting everyone the same way I did in the past. Things have already changed just from me not jumping, so I expected things would change.' Izumi thought. 

Katsuki noticed where she was looking and got curious about what she was thinking. 

"Something on your mind?" 

"Huh? Oh, it's nothing. I just saw that man sitting on that bench over there and they reminded me of someone I met a while back." Izumi said.

Katsuki looked at the man that was sitting on the bench Izumi was looking at and recognized the man right away. 

'It's that weird guy from the past too.' 

"This strange guy I met a while back was pretty cool. Though he was strange, he knew a lot more about things than I did and used to think that my actions were outlandish and far too dangerous." Izumi said with a chuckle. 

'This sounds exactly like back before Deku knew I was her dog, and that weirdo was always trying to tell her it was dangerous to go after the League on her own. How would she-' 

"I'm sure if I talked to that guy now, he'd think I was weird and probably wouldn't recognize me." Izumi said.

The blond thought back to what Takashi said earlier that morning again.
