114: Sweet Chaos

( In Perspective of Izumi, First Person )

Darkness... it was so cold and dark, and I didn't know what or how I got there, but I couldn't escape. I couldn't even reach out for someone to help me, because it felt like I was falling. 

I don't like this feeling, I don't like... that I lost again. I just wanted... everything to go back to normal. I just wanted to be happy again... 

But I can't do this if I end up disappearing, but it's not like I can really fight back this feeling of falling into the cold and empty darkness.

The sound of a large splash echoed in the river, and as the greenette heard it, she tried to look and see what it was. Though she couldn't see clearly, she did see what felt and looked like a warm ray of light. 

'Light... is it coming... for me?' she thought as she tried to reach her hand out. 

But since she'd been in those cold dark waters for a little longer than she thought, her body was going numb and her skin was turning pale. 

'I guess this light... is taking me to where I need to be...' she thought as she closed her eyes and let the last of her air bubbles out.

As she slowly felt herself waking up, she could hear the sound of someone panting, and she could tell how her body was freezing. 

She slowly opened her eyes to see a man, now with soaking Ash Blond hair and Ruby Red eyes staring down at her. 

"Who is-" 

"Tch- idiot..." he said under his breath. 

Her eyes started to focus and she could finally see it was Katsuki, as he was still trying to catch his breath. 

"Ka... cchan...?"

( Back in time and with Katsuki! )

Katsuki, as a dog, ran to the grounds of his old Junior high school and was trying to catch his breath. 

'Okay Deku, don't you dare think about-' 

He looked up and he felt his body go cold to see that the greenette was standing on the roof of the building anymore. 

'No!' 

He shifted into a human right away and ran to where he would've estimated she could've landed as he still thought of if she did jump. He ran around the campus and turned the corner to see the greenette wasn't in sight. 

'She's not here... is she still on the roof? But I didn't see her?' he thought, and before he was about to walk into the building, he stopped in his tracks and sniffed the air.

But because he was in a panic to sniff the air, he wasn't sure if the scent he was getting was real or not. 

'How did I miss her jumping or leaving this place? Where did she go? Arg- stop being stupid and think, Katsuki! There has to be a reason why Deku's not here and why she was here, she wouldn't just jump. So where else would she go?' he thought, beating his own head with his fist trying to think. 

Finally he tried to sniff the air, and this time he realized how her scent was going in a different direction, it didn't stay at that one place. He sniffed the air again and finally got the real scent of Izumi and caught the direction of where the scent was going. 

He wanted to follow that scent right away.

He shifted back into a dog and ran through the empty streets of Japan, trying to track down the greenette's scent, and though he would get close at some points, it felt like her scent would suddenly disappear from that area altogether.
