33: Purify

'Ever since I was a kid, I'd always dreamed of being the kind of person people would look up to. I always saw those heroes in comic books come to life for me, and I loved and admired them for what they do. And there was one hero in particular that influenced me to do my hardest every single day.'

( Flashback )

"Goodness Izuku, I'm sure the views on this video have been seen by you the most. It's almost scary." Inko said, pressing for the video to play on the computer. 

Though comic book heroes were never real and didn't come to life, the one hero that I always admired practically came to life for me. 

"Fear not citizens, hope has arrived... Because I am here." 

Izuku's eyes lit up with delight as he stared at the screen, the joy of seeing his favorite hero always made him happy. 

Though it all came from a tv show I grew up watching as a kid, I never got tired of it. My favorite hero on that show was All Might. He was known for always saving people with a smile on his face, and that's what I wanted to do. 

I wanted to save people with a smile on my face too.

"You little- I'll make you a rotten corpse!" Muscular said, as another layer of muscle covered his body again. 

'All my life I've wanted to be considered a hero, and doing something like this is just what I imagined. I wanna be the hero that saves everyone, even if I have to have the help of Spirits, I was given a second chance at life, and I won't waste it!' 

Izumi sparked green and she grit her teeth and clenched her hands into a fist. 

"I won't let you stop me from my dream!" 

"Say goodnight!!!" 

Muscular's muscles detached and sprung at the greenette, but she was faster than before and could dodge the attacks left and right.

And right when Muscular lost sight of the greenette, this was her chance to finish this once and for all. 

"What-" 

'Off all the power moves I've copied from All Might when I was a kid, I wanna make this even better.' she thought as she clenched her fist tighter and her intense gaze caught the muscle man's attention. 

"1,000,000%..." 

She paused trying to catch her breath and jolted her arm straight at the enemy! 

"DELAWARE DETROIT SMASH!!!!!!" 

And as soon as her fist went straight into Muscular's face, everything shook and shattered in meer seconds.

After the long explosion, it was over, as Muscular laid there unconscious and Izumi stood tall. But once the aura surrounding the greenette started to fade, Izumi could feel pain covering her body, it was like she had pins and needles stabbing her. 

She fell to her knees and tried to catch her breath from the intense fight she just went through. 

'I did it... I beat Muscular...' Izumi thought. 

She looked around and realized that they were back in the same garden that was outside of the Hotel. 

'The Hotel... so it really was just a pocket of space for me and Muscular to fight. Well at least it didn't cause any damage to the garden or the Hotel.' Izumi thought.
