116: Monster

"I know his scent." Katsuki said.

All three of them looked at the blond and he didn't seem unfazed by what he said. 

"Kacchan, you know Kurogiri's scent?" 

"Yeah, he was there the last time you fought with those two weirdos back then. And because you kept running away earlier when I was trying to find you, I also could catch that guy's scent that you were chasing." Katsuki said. 

"Does that mean you can catch his scent right now?" Izumi asked. 

"I can try, but I highly doubt he'll be in this area right now." Katsuki said. 

"Wouldn't hurt to try. Looks like you'll have to be our trusty K-9 until we can track him down. You okay with that, Katsuki?" 

"As long as we find the guy, that's all that matters to me." Katsuki said. 

"Let's start looking!"

It was currently 1:24 A.M. and all four of them started to search around the late and empty streets of Tokyo. 

"Kacchan, are you sure you want to try and sniff out Kurogiri while carrying me? I could be slowing you down." Izumi mumbled. 

"It's fine, you're gonna end up collapsing if I don't carry you. And if you bring up your weight again, you're stupid, because I told you you're not heavy at all." he huffed. 

"Okay... I'm sorry you're so worried about me." 

"Don't say you're sorry, it's only natural for me to be worried about you. Who knows what you'll do if I'm not around to save your ass." 

"Right..."

"Katsuki, you think you caught a whiff anywhere?" Takashi asked. 

Katsuki sniffed again, but it didn't seem like he found anything. 

"Still nothing. Are you sure we're looking in the right place?" 

"We have to, this is where some of the spirits said they saw him head to. Hopefully he didn't go back to the Spirit Realm, I'd rather not want to go to Spirit Realm to deal with a member of the League." Takashi said. 

"Any reason why, Takashi?" Izumi asked. 

"Takashi's had bad memories back when we were human and it involved the Spirit Realm. Back then, the Spirit Realm was called the Demon World, but since things have changed, it's turned to be called something different. But back then, Takashi went through a lot of trauma when we went to the Demon World, you could say he almost turned into a monster and it terrified him." Duncan whispered.

"Huh? But I thought Takashi was fine when he and Emra came to the Spirit Realm when I was captured by Yui. So what's different this time?" 

"It's because Emra's not here." Duncan whispered. 

"Really?" 

"Yup. Emra's the only one who can keep him calm and stable, and back then, she was the one that saved him when we did go to the Demon World." Duncan whispered. 

"You know I can still hear you, even when you're whispering, right Duncan?" 

"U-Uh- sorry man." 

"It's fine. If it comes down to us having to go to the Spirit Realm, I'll just suck it up. It's not like I'm not allowed to be there." Takashi said.
