Katsuki shuffled through the halls trying to remember what room the greenette was in, and once he found the door, he didn't waste a second and wanted to open the door and see her.

"Deku!" He yelled as he pulled the door open.

Though he knew she was awake, he was still surprised–practically speechless–to see the greenette sitting up in her bed and looking up at him.

"Ka- Kacchan..."

"Oh- good morning, Katsuki. You seem like you were in a hurry to see my daughter judging from the fact that you're panting." Inko said. Katsuki jolted at how the greenette's mother noticed and he coughed to break the awkwardness.

"I-I was just worried, that's all." he muttered.

He watched Izumi and right away noticed how she immediately averted her gaze from and didn't look all that pleased to see him. His eyes widened at just the thought that she wasn't happy or ecstatic to see him.

'Why's she acting so weird, what did that Shinigami tell her to make her act this way?' Katsuki thought.

"Damn brat, where are your manners?!?! Who runs in the halls of a hospital?!?!" Mitsuki yelled as she slapped the back of his head again.

"Oh Mitsuki, I didn't know you were here as well." Inko said.

"Of course, but this brat decided to run off and leave me behind the second he found out Izumi was awake. How are you feeling, Izumi?" Mitsuki asked.

"O-Oh, I'm a lot better, just sore from when I hit the ground and got knocked out. Luckily a friend of mine saved me and took the hit from the car. I still need to go see him and thank him for saving me." Izumi said.

"Oh goodness, if only my son wasn't slacking off then he would've saved you. I still can't believe you weren't with her when it happened you brat!" Mitsuki hissed.

"It's okay, Mrs. Bakugo." "

Hm?"

"I-I wasn't paying attention to things around me when it happened, so you shouldn't blame Kacchan when he was busy talking to someone else that was probably more important than me." Izumi stated.

Katsuki stood there with disbelief at what the greenette just said; someone more important than her?

"Brat, did you say something to Izumi to make her act this way towards you?!?! Tell me, you-"

"Oh, hello."

The blonds turned their heads to see Shoto and Yaoyorozu at the doorway.

"T-Todoroki... and Momo..."

"S-Sorry if we're interrupting something. We heard our friend woke up and we wanted to stop by and see how she's doing." Yaoyorozu explained.

"Ah- m-mom, M-Mrs. Bakugo, these are some friends that I graduated with from U.A.." Izumi said.

"Oh, well hello there. Don't mind us, it's just I need to teach this brat of a son some manners." Mitsuki said.

"Are you feeling better, Izumi?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"Oh yes, I'm fine, just sore." she answered.

"Well then, since your friends are here, I think me and Mitsuki will get going." Inko said, standing up from her chair.

"Ah- mom, are you sure? You don't have to leave just yet."

"But I only stayed here until you woke up and said you were fine. You can't rely on me forever, sweetie." Inko stated.
