50: Complicated

"Could you... live somewhere else for right now?"

( Time skip to later in the day! )

Aster just got off the train after finishing his classes for the day and just as he happened to look up, he saw a certain spiky Ash Blond sitting at the same bench like usual. 

'Katsuki? Did he go and see Izumi?' Aster thought. 

'Geez, this could've been easier if I just didn't go.' Katsuki thought. 

"Yo." 

Katsuki looked up to see Aster walking up to the bench. 

"Surprised to see you sitting here in the middle of the day." Aster said. 

"Tch- what about you, you're a college student." 

"Hmph, I just finished my classes early for the day and came here to see how you were doing. So did you talk to Izumi?" Aster asked, sitting down on the bench. 

"Oh yeah, we talked..." Katsuki groaned. 

"And?"

( Flashback )

"Could you... live somewhere else for right now?"

Katsuki blinked a few times and raised an eyebrow. 

"Ah- huh?" 

"Because I'm still not used to you being human yet, I still need some time to think about all of this. It has been 7 years since the last time I saw you, so knowing that you were a dog before you turned back to normal... sort of, I wanna have some time... alone." Izumi said. 

"Are you... Are you saying you don't wanna see me at all?" 

"No no, it's not that! I just, at least not living with me. I'm sure you'll be able to find a place to stay for this short time. I can only assume Aster could help you out on that, and I'm sure Chevy and Anastasia will be fine with you being my partner... in a way." Izumi said nervously.

Though he didn't wanna listen to her and thought this sounded ridiculous, this was a request she specifically asked him. 

"And how long is that gonna take? Me not living here?" 

"O-Oh- probably a week... or two..." she mumbled. 

'A fucking week, or two?!?! Think how I felt when I found out you were turned into a girl. I couldn't cope with that, but I had to!' Katsuki thought. 

"Hah- fine, I'll find another place for the time being." Katsuki said, rubbing his head. 

"I'm sorry I have to ask you to do this, but we'll still be working together in a way." Izumi said with guilty eyes. Katsuki felt his heart pounding from her sweet expression, he had to grit his teeth to try and stop these feelings he had. 

'This is torture.'

"I got it, I'm not gonna be involved in any field stuff since I'm still recovering, so I might not be at the Station until I get my energy back." Katsuki said. 

"And how long do you think that will take?" Izumi asked. 

"Just a couple days." Katsuki exhaled. 

"I-I see... then I hope you recover fast." Izumi said. 

"Right. That's all I wanted to say, so I'll just get going." 

"Ah- Kacchan wait!" 

"What?" 

He got up from the couch, but she grabbed his hand, that stopped him. He looked down to see she was blushing again, and she was already trying not to look up at him.
