32: Our Gift

'Deku... don't worry, I can do this. I'll prove that I can still beat you.' 

"Bring it!!!"

Izumi flew back and hit the hard ground, as just getting punched by Muscular, she knew this was far different compared to the fight she had between Mustard and Moonfish. She tried to get up from the ground, still trying to catch her breath as she looked up to see Muscular standing a few feet away. 

She'd barely managed to even scratch the surface of his muscled armor. 

'I knew Muscular was strong, and he's nothing compared to Mustard and Moonfish combined. Why did I think it was a good idea to come here on my own?' Izumi thought.

"Heh- don't tell me you're givin' up when we just started! I wanna see guts and blood, and you're gonna be dead by the end of this!" Muscular yelled with a devilish grin. 

'Even when I know that coming here alone was a bad idea, I can't let Muscular get any farther than this. Though I don't have a firearm or a taser, I still need to think of something before I end up getting killed.' Izumi thought. 

But in the short span of time she tried to think, it was practically impossible for her to think of a plan when Muscular was fast and she couldn't keep up.

'There has to be a way to penetrate that armor he has, but what?' Izumi thought, trying to dodge his attacks. And while she stood in deep thought, Muscular appeared right behind her and was faster than before. 

"You're dead meat!" 

'Oh crap!' Izumi thought. 

She turned her body to face him and lifted her arms in front of her to block his punch, but instantly regretted this decision as it felt like a car was trying to run her over. 

'I can't hold this much longer!' she thought. 

She felt her feet slide back and realized that she blocked the punch, but that didn't mean she was safe. 

"You die here!" Muscular slammed his arms downwards, and the only thing the greenette could do was lift her arms above her to block from the strong punch.

However, this powerful blow was stronger than the previous attack, as she ended up falling onto her knees and soon felt her body falling backwards. Her body felt exhausted and she couldn't push herself any further, this was her ending point. 

All the energy she had disappeared into dust and she couldn't lift her body back and felt like she was falling. The feeling of falling was endless, almost like she was sinking, drowning into the abyss. 

She could see the same smirk on Muscular's face, until her sight turned into nothing. She was trapped in a place that wouldn't let her fight back. 

Or so she thought.

"Hey... Hey~... ARE YOU GONNA OPEN YOUR EYES OR WHAT?!?!?"
