"We've only got one chance to do this, otherwise my brother won't stop." Shoto said.

"Then it better be a good diversion, Half N' Half."

Dabi was losing his patience and stumbled towards the hiding spot where Katsuki, Shoto and Iris were last seen.

"C'mon, you wannabe heroes, I don't got time for hide and seek. Either you come out, or I toast everything around-"

Dabi turned the corner only to find that none of the three he was expecting to see were there at all.

"Tryin' to run now?" Dabi said, searching around the area he was standing in.

"I thought this was supposed to be a fight, not a dumb wild goose chase?" Dabi said as he stumbled through the alley.

The second he turned his head, he caught a glimpse of spiky Ash blond hair and knew it was Katsuki.

"So we are running, huh? Then you ain't gonna get far!" Dabi said with a smirk and balls of Blue flames entered the building he saw Katsuki running through.

Dabi jumped through the window only to have lost sight of the blond and could tell he was walking through an abandoned building.

"If you're trying to fool me, I'm not as stupid as I look!" he yelled.

The second he heard what could only be described as ice freezing near him, he jerked his head and saw small snowflakes in the opposite direction from where he saw the blond.

"So you want me to play your little game, huh? Fine, I'll play, but I'll be the only one winning." Dabi taunted as he walked through the building.

He knew the three of them had at least walked through the building as he could hear loud footsteps in the empty halls and taps against the walls. He was contemplating on if he should just burn the entire building yet, but then he thought that would just spoil the fun for him.

"I thought this was supposed to be a challenge, but all I'm getting is wannabe heroes that're only running away from their problems." Dabi stated.

"Who said we were running?" Dabi turned his entire body to only see Katsuki standing feet away from him.

"Well, looks like someone doesn't plan on running. You think you can fight me with hands like that? Trust me, with the burns on my skin that you see, it wasn't easy for me." Dabi said.

"Who said I was planning on fighting?" Katsuki said and then poofed into his dog form right in front of the villain.

"What is this, cat and mouse now? Though you look like a dog, you don't act like one." Dabi laughed, but Katsuki just growled at him.

"What're you gonna do, bite me?"

"No, but maybe I can."

Dabi heard a familiar voice behind him and jumped to the side and dodge a wall of ice coming after him.

"You're gonna have to be a lot smarter than that, little brother." Dabi said, looking up to see Shoto.

"I really don't want to fight you, Toya." Shoto said.

"Neither do I, but we can't pick and choose everything we want. I didn't want to burn my skin and turn into this monster that you see, but I had no choice. I wanted power, and I wanted to prove to that old geezer that I was strong, but he didn't listen, and I ended up turning into this." Dabi said, holding out both his arms–accepting the man he's become.
