Izumi looked through her contacts and stared at the phone number.
"Mmmh... would she help me though? I was fired by the Police for disobeying the Chief's order..." Izumi mumbled.
'Deku's still stupid, if we're gonna do this, we don't need fucking backup.' Katsuki thought.
"Oh I know, hopefully they'll answer if I ask them to come." Izumi said, looking through her contacts to find the number.
"Aha! Here it is." Izumi said and pressed the phone number and waited for an answer.
While Izumi and Katsuki were hiding from the League, at the Police Station, everyone was out doing field work, except for two people. Anastasia, and her assistant, Midori.
'It's unfortunate that Midoriya got fired for trying to help. But since it was the Chief's orders, I can't even have a say in this. If only I wasn't a spirit.' Midori thought, but his thoughts vanished as he heard his phone ringing in his pocket.
He pulled out his phone and looked to be surprised to see Izumi calling him.
'Hm? Midoriya's calling me? What for?' he thought and looked around to make sure his boss wasn't around and answered the phone.
"Hello?"
"Midori!"
"Midoriya? Any reason you're calling me?"
"Now's not the time to ask me that, listen, I need backup!" Izumi whispered.
"Ah- backup? Please don't tell me what I think you're doing."
"Yes, I'm on the tail of a couple members of the League, and this time I'm not lying! It's important that I get backup here as soon as I can." Izumi said.
"Hah- Midoriya, you don't work for the Police anymore, so why are you still getting involved?"
"Because these members are holding a large group of innocent people captive." Midori froze.
"A large group of people? How many exactly?"
"From what I can see, at least 20 to 30 people are captive."
'20 to 30? But why would the League need to hold this many humans captive?' Midori thought.
"Fine, I'll ask the Captain if we could get some backup. Are the people fine?"
"All of them seem unconscious, one of the members that's here is Mustard, he uses toxic gasses and I'm hoping the gas didn't cause anything bad to these people. So please bring a few ambulances to make sure the people are safe." Izumi said.
"Hah- you're asking a lot for someone that doesn't work with the Police anymore, but fine. I'll get as much help as I can." Midori said.
"Thank you, Midori."
"Hmph, just please be careful while we get there, and don't do anything silly. I'm sure the Chief wouldn't be happy to hear you doing this if he finds out." Midori said.
"I know, but as long as I get you and the Captain to help, that's all that matters right now." Izumi said.
"Right, just keep track of the members of the League until we get there." Midori said and hung up.
"Well now that she's doing this much, hopefully she doesn't do anything reckless."
"Who's reckless?"
