131: Something Old, Something New

'This... This isn't Lily... so who is this?'

"Alice, we know you like playing games, but this is a bit much–even for you." the redhead said. 

Alice didn't make any remark, but her expression changed drastically just looking at the redhead. 

"Now, if you will please put that Scythe away, we can talk and hopefully not have Izuku remain afraid of you." the redhead commanded. 

'Will her command work? And how does this woman know my name?' Izumi thought. 

After waiting a few seconds, it didn't seem Alice wanted to listen to this redhead as her eyes turned cold and she tightened her grip on the Scythe. 

"No one tells me what to do!!!" the blonde roared and swung the Scythe upwards and then slammed it down towards the redhead.

Izumi shut her eyes–afraid to see what could've happened–but... the greenette knew something happened. 

But what? 

"I know you can act like a child sometimes, but that doesn't mean you should act reckless. Especially since you basically destroyed your own tea shop." 

Izumi opened her eyes and felt her body go cold at the sight in front of her. 

The redhead's arms somehow turned more feather-like, as this woman's arms were covered in long and Black feathers that stopped Alice's Scythe from hurting her. 

"Have you finished your little tantrum, because you'll know I have to report this to Emra since you didn't listen." the redhead spouted, Alice's eyes turned afraid of those words.

'Huh? This woman knows Emra? Does that mean... she was close friends with Emra too?' Izumi thought. 

Alice scoffed as she didn't want a certain greenette to know about this event, but she had to comply and swung her Scythe away from the redhead and it turned back into a Lily. The blonde's eyes looked annoyed, but Izumi could tell she'd gone back to normal. 

"Hah- I was just trying to have a little fun, a test to see if the Special Case was really capable of handling me." Alice sighed. 

'Wait- that was a test? A test to what? Try to kill me?!?!' Izumi yelled in her head. 

The redhead seemed relieved that Alice was back to normal, and the feathers on her arm disappeared like dust. 

'Woah-' 

The redhead turned around to look down at Izumi and held out her hand for the greenette to grab. 

"Sorry about that, I wasn't expecting you to arrive here so early and end up in this kind of mess. But at least I managed to stop it. Oh- I'm Kendra Feather, I'm an old friend of Emra's!"

Katsuki wasn't sure if he was hearing things, but he stared at Shoto waiting for him to say something else. 

"Wait a sec... your brother's... a member of the League?!?!" Katsuki yelled. 

"Mn. I just found out recently, and I've been trying to track him down to stop him. I was told he'd be in this area, so I came here to look for him." Shoto answered, his face was still calm and expressionless. 

"You- Do you even hear yourself?!?! I knew you got a problem, even knowing now that your fucking brother is with the League! Now that means you're probably a member too!" Katsuki yelled and wanted to attack without a second thought.
