57: Strange Feeling

After a long next couple of days, Izumi had completely recovered from her sickness and woke up. 

'Hm? What happened?' 

She sat up from her bed and looked around to see how clean it was in her room. 

'Huh? Where are all my clothes? I could've sworn my room was messy last I checked.' Izumi thought and got out of bed. 

She could tell her body wasn't fully awake yet, so she grabbed some clean clothes and went to take a shower. After taking a shower, she walked out of her bedroom fully dressed for work and was surprised to see a certain greenette in her kitchen.

"Huh? Mom?" 

"Oh- good morning sweetie, I made breakfast." Inko said happily. 

"Ah- I see that, but what're you doing here?" 

"Oh sweetie, you don't remember? You had pneumonia." Izumi froze and stared at her mom. 

"I... was sick?" 

"You don't remember? It was a light pneumonia luckily, but you still had the same side effects of it. Luckily your friend stayed here with me to help you as much as he could." Inko said. 

"Huh? Do you mean my friend Aster?" 

"No silly, Katsuki." Izumi froze. 

'Kacchan... was here?'

She looked around her apartment but didn't see the blond anywhere. 

"Where is he?" 

"Oh, he left last night since I told him your fever broke and you would be able to go back to work today. He was really worried about you, it seems he took you home the night you started getting sick and came back to see your Cold turned into a fever and pneumonia. He had to use your phone when I tried to call you and he told me you were sick and needed help, so I came. He stayed and helped as much as he could, and he constantly was trying to keep your apartment clean. But he was constantly worried about you." Inko said. 

'He really was here?' 

"How long was I out?"

"Only for a few days, but I was wondering how you ended up getting sick, sweetie?" 

"O-Oh that, I was in the middle of work and... ended up having to go to a water park and somehow got all my clothes wet. I didn't have time to change my clothes or get any spare clothes, so I just stayed in my clothes for the rest of the day." 

This was just an excuse, but Inko seemed more worried about her daughter catching a Cold. 

"Oh Izuku, you know you'll catch a Cold easily if you do that, and it's still winter." Inko said. 

"I-I know, but I just lost track of time and didn't realize I'd be out all day that day." 

'More like an entire cleansing from a church and a Grim Reaper cleansed me for an entire afternoon! That water was freezing!' Izumi thought.

"Anyway, I got you some medicine to take just in case your fever comes back, and please don't overwork yourself today." Inko said. 

"I-I won't mom, I'll be fine." Izumi said, taking the medicine. 

"You know it's almost Christmas, Izuku." 

"Hm? Yeah, what about Christmas?" 

"Maybe you can go on a date with Katsuki. He seems like such a wonderful person!" Izumi froze.
