141: Pain

As they waited to be given the sign that Toga was defeated, Katsuki was starting to get impatient again. 

"How much longer is this supposed to take? I'm about to lose it!" Katsuki growled. 

And just when it got quiet in the area, they heard a loud and distant scream that was filled with agony and pain. 

"Master, that was the voice of the member of the League." Kaoru said. 

"Mn." 

"Then what're we waiting for, let's go-" 

"Hold it just one second, dog." Phoenix interrupted and snapped his fingers again to force the blond to drop to the ground again. 

"Arg- can you stop fucking doing that?!?!" Katsuki yelled.

"I would, but the only person that will be going over there right now is Alice." Phoenix said. 

"What? Why?" 

"Because I need to extract that member's spirit, and I wanted to wait till I heard a scream, as it would give me a sign to go there." Alice said and started heading that direction. 

"Wait a sec- why the hell did you leave that area in the first place if it was near your shop?" Katsuki yelled. 

Alice stopped and turned her head halfway and looked in the corner of her eye to see Katsuki. 

"It's because I can't stand the foul smell of iron in the area where my shop is."

Toga's body was shaking as she was on her knees and tears were in her eyes as she felt wave after wave of pain hit her in every place of her body. 

"I'm sure you've enjoyed killing innocent people, and I'm sure you're used to them screaming in pain from the damage you've caused, but you've never felt that pain yourself, have you?" Emra asked, taking slow steps around the blonde. 

'I don't understand... nothing's happened to Toga physically since she drank Emra's blood, so is Emra using some kind of mental trick to make her feel pain?' Izumi thought. 

"I'm honestly surprised you've lasted this long with my blood in your system, then again, you do have a spirit possessing your body. Usually spirits that have possessed humans make the human body last longer, so I do wonder how long your body will last until that spirit inside of you decides to run." Emra said.

Toga shakingly reached her left arm and grabbed Emra by her leg and tried to stop her from moving. 

"S-Stop..." Toga wepted. 

"Hm? What did you say?" 

"Stop... Stop cheating!!!" Toga yelled and tried to take a swing at the greenette. 

But because Toga's body was so weak, it caused her body to slow down and she wasn't even close to trying to land a hit on Emra. 

"This is usually what happens when the blood is trying to get used to your body, it's causing your body to break down." Emra said. 

"Don't... tell me what's wrong!!!" Toga screamed and tried to get up from her feet, but because she was still trapped mentally, she had no feeling in her right leg.

"She's lucky she didn't drink me and Emra's blood at the same time, then she absolutely would've been dead at this point." Kendra muttered, Izumi's eyes widened. 

"Is your blood just as bad as Emra's?" 

"Mn. Mine has a dangerous poison that can put you into eternal sleep." Kendra noted.
