( Back to Present )

"Let me get this straight, you work for a Grim Reaper?" 

"Yeah, not something I'm allowed to tell just anybody." Aster said. 

"What do you mean a Grim Reaper? Are there more?" 

"Yeah, there's 12 Reapers total." 

"12?!?! So do you think one of them is the one that did this to me?!?!" Katsuki asked. 

"Mmmh... I don't think a Grim Reaper would have the abilities to do this to you. It could've been something else..." Aster said, going into thought. 

'What? But Deku told me a Grim Reaper was the one who did this.' the blond thought. 

"Then who?" 

"Ah- Izumi's coming back, you need to go back to normal." Aster said, grabbing the collar off the blond and forcing him to shift back into a dog.

 "What the- why the hell did you-"

"Aster, I'm back~!" Izumi yelled. 

"Hey there, that took longer than I thought. How'd your interview go?" 

"Great! They said I could start some time next week!" Izumi said happily. 

"That's good to hear, time to move forward then." Aster said. 

"Mn. Oh? Did you and Kacchan get along while I was gone?" Izumi asked. 

"Oh yeah, you could say we had a little talk." Aster said. 

"How's that possible? You can only talk to spirits, not dogs."

"I have my ways. Anyway, now that you're back, I need to get to work. Oh right- make sure to be careful. You're not with the Police anymore and I'm sure the spirits have noticed. Just don't do anything I wouldn't." Aster said, getting up from the bench. 

"Hmph, don't worry. I'll be cautious!" Izumi said, taking the leash back once Aster left. 

'Though I thought he was weird at first, he might be the only help I get to getting back to normal. He even let me keep the collar just in case I need it for something. What I wanna know is who really did this to me and Deku. If it wasn't a Grim Reaper, who else would it be?' Katsuki thought. 

"Ready to get something to eat, Kacchan?" Izumi asked. 

'Well... at least Deku seems to be in a better mood.' he thought, and followed the greenette.

After they ate, they started taking a walk just to slow down for a bit. 

'What that guy told me earlier was something weird too. He told me to be careful about the spirits that are around me. Just because they can see and sense me, doesn't mean they think I'm safe. And what that guy said about bad spirits was interesting too.' Katsuki thought, remembering what Aster told him before Izumi came back.

( Flashback )

"Wait- spirits can tell I'm a human?" 

"Well yeah, just because you appear as a dog to them, doesn't mean you don't have a human soul. That's probably why none of them helped you escape the Spirit Realm and a Nine-Tailed Fox helped you instead. But I should warn you that just because you have a bit of an aura of a spirit, doesn't mean you're safe. And though this could be a problem, I think that though this could be dangerous, you might be able to smell out the bad spirits that are the League of Villains." Aster said.
