54: Odd Sense

As the new day came, the blond felt his eyes slowly open on their own. He lifted his body to sit up and stretched for a few seconds. He looked around the room to remember that he was still at Izumi's apartment. 

'Crap, I was supposed to wake up early to leave here, not that it matters now. Huh?' 

He turned his head to see Izumi was still lying asleep, but something seemed off. She'd pushed all the covers away and looked like her every breath was heavy, her cheeks were red and her hands were placed over her chest. 

"Deku, are you-" 

He placed his hand over her head, she was burning to the touch.

'What the- she had a cold yesterday, but now she's burning up, and why's she holding her chest?' 

"It hurts..." 

"Huh?" 

Katsuki leaned closer to her and she had tears in her eyes. 

"It hurts..." 

"What, what hurts, Deku?" 

"My... my chest... it hurts..." she mumbled and started coughing. 

'Coughing too, this isn't some simple fever. Hm?' The sound of a phone ringing echoed in the room and the blond was searching as to where it came from. He looked down at the greenette to see a light coming from her pocket. 

"Hah- hold still, lemme answer that." Katsuki said, reaching through her pocket to grab her phone.

Once he grabbed the phone he looked to see who was calling; Mom. 

'Deku's mom?' 

"It hurts..." 

Katsuki knew that if anyone could help, it would be her mom, so he answered. 

"He-" 

"Izuku, are you okay? I've heard everything from the news and was calling just to make sure you were okay." 

"Um... Ma'am, this isn't De- I mean Izuku, this is Katsuki." 

"Huh? Katsuki? You mean Mitsuki's son?" 

"Yes ma'am, and I need your help. It's Izuku, they- she's sick." 

"What? Izuku's sick, what're the symptoms?" 

"She's burning to the touch and keeps holding her chest saying it hurts and just started coughing. She had a cold yesterday, but it turned into a fever." Katsuki said, looking down at the greenette. 

"Okay, I'll be right over, just keep watching over her until I get there." 

"Yes ma'am."

The call ended and Katsuki got up from the bed and went into the kitchen to see if he could find any medicine. 

'You're kidding me, how the fuck does Deku have a complete first aid, but no fucking medicine!?! First she doesn't have any blankets, now no medicine, and what kind of cleansing was that guy talking about yesterday? Forget it, let's just see what we can do before Deku's mom gets here.' he thought as he grabbed a few water bottles and went back into the bedroom.

He helped the greenette sit up and opened a water bottle for her to start drinking. 

"Drink, slowly." he instructed and watched the greenette drink as much of the water she could. 

After she finished drinking, she started coughing again, so he laid her back down and covered her with the blankets as best he could. He looked around the room as it was still messy and there were piles of clothes everywhere.
