128: Stop it Now

"Kacchan, it's okay, you can let Neito go." Izumi mumbled. Katsuki jerked his head to the side to see the greenette standing next to him. 

"Deku- this guy's talking shit about you, which means I gotta teach him-"

"Just let him go, Kacchan." Izumi interrupted.

Katsuki wasn't sure if he heard the greenette correctly and turned his entire head to look down at her. 

"What?" he growled. 

"Let him go, I'll take care of this." Izumi answered. 

The blond wasn't sure if he should believe her or not, but since she basically commanded him, then he had no choice but to listen. He released Neito by the collar of his shirt and Neito brushed the wrinkles in his shirt off and then looked back at the greenette. 

"Trying to make the situation better by stopping your partner, that's not something you've done-" 

Izumi didn't waste a second and slapped Neito right across the face!

The slap echoed through the Station and everyone had their jaws drop, and that included both Katsuki and Neito too. 

"I-Izumi-chan!" 

"It's one thing for you to say things about me, but it's another thing when you blame me for trying to do something. Ever since you've been dispatched here, you've done nothing but badmouth everyone around you. And for what? Are you just annoyed that every Police Officer that works at this Station can see spirits and you can't? I don't understand how or why you were specifically dispatched to this Station when you can't even put an ounce of helping. I thought you would've changed one we all graduated, but I guess some things don't change and you will continue telling people that they're useless. I have felt useless before, but right now, I don't feel that way at all." Izumi said, her tone was serious and almost haunting to listen to.

Izumi slapped Neito so hard across the face that his left cheek was turning Red from the slap. Katsuki didn't think the greenette had it in her, but at the same time, he was trying hard not to laugh at the shock written on Neito's face. 

"I've done nothing but involve myself with taking care of each and every member of the League since I was dispatched to this Station, and though I don't want to accept that Aoyama could be helping the League, I'm still trying!" Izumi exclaimed. 

Everyone was in awe to see the greenette this... pissed, and though her classmates knew she could speak out, slapping someone was not something she'd usually do.

"Hah- I think I've been here long enough, Kacchan, let's go." Izumi said as she grabbed the blond's hand and pulled him to follow. 

Katsuki was still speechless after everything that just happened, but once they left the Station and were walking back home, he couldn't help but smile. 

'Hmph, that's my Deku...' he thought with a subtle smile. 

Just thinking back as to what just happened at the Station caused Katsuki's tail to wag back and forth and his ears to twitch like crazy. 

'I've never been this upset and this frustrated at someone before, but at least I took care of Neito before Kacchan could've done something worse.' Izumi thought as she tightened her grip on the blond's hand.

They both stopped right at the front of Izumi's apartment door and Katsuki could tell the greenette was still thinking about everything that happened at the Station.
