The two of them left the Police Station, hand and hand–though to make themselves less obvious–as they were still handcuffed together. Izumi and Katsuki decided to go back to the area where they met the magician who caused this problem to happen to begin with.

"Do you think he'll try to run if we manage to find him?" Izumi asked.

"Probably, we'll just have to figure a way to stop 'em." he groaned.

"I'm sorry we got us into this mess, I wasn't expecting him to handcuff us together and then run off. Sorry, Kacchan."

"Stop apologizing for something you can't help. If I'd have known the guy would've run off, I would've run after him to stop 'em." Katsuki spat.

"Yeah, but we'll be stuck together until we can find him or some other kind of solu-"

"Like I said before, it's that bad, and I don't mind holding your hand until we find 'em." he interrupted.

That shut the greenette up instantly as she wasn't used to hearing him make it sound like everything was fine and that holding hands wasn't a hassle.

"O-Okay... let's just try to look for him..." she mumbled as she could feel her chest beating faster by the second.

'Me and Kacchan didn't do anything like this in our past life because we were so busy dealing with the League, it's strange but it's a good strange. Maybe I should be thankful that guy cuffed us together...' she thought.

She looked in the corner of her eye to see how focused the blond was as he was searching around as they continued to walk.

'I do kinda miss those dog ears and tail he had, that was the only way I could tell what he was thinking...' she thought.

'If she keeps staring at me, I don't know how much longer my patience will last and I might end up kissing her. Arg- why did she have to lose her memories and I didn't?!?' Katsuki thought, gritting his teeth.

Izumi looked down at their hands and could tell just how much bigger the blond's hand was compared to hers, and she could tell how rough and dry his hands were compared to her soft and small hands.

'I wish we could just stay in this moment forever...' both of them thought while averting their gaze from each other.

They returned back to the busy area where they saw the magician before he ran, but because there were a lot more people than before, it was difficult to see every single person's face.

"This could take us the entire day to find him." Izumi said, searching the crowd.

"Tch- he just had to pick a place that would get harder to search through." Katsuki groaned.

"Let's just ask people that work in this area and see if they can tell us anything."

"Like that's gonna give us any help."

"It's better than not trying to do anything" Izumi answered.

As they remained to hold each other's hand–to make themselves less obvious–Izumi and Katsuki walked around the entire area and asked anyone that was willing to answer their questions.

Most of the people they asked didn't give an answer they were looking for, and it was rare that people knew who Izumi and Katsuki were talking about. That is until a certain woman who happened to be working in the area was willing to answer their questions.

"Oh, I saw you two earlier today talking to that young man before he ran off." the woman said.

"So do you know anything about that man?" Izumi asked.
