98: Hyde

For the next few days, it was the same schedule for the greenette; go to the Station to see if any reports were made on Twice, usually there wasn't, then her and Katsuki go to the same training place to train with Emra and Saeko for long hours. 

Though it was hard after the first day on the greenette since she hadn't done this much training since she went to U.A., she was starting to get confident in controlling her power day after day. 

It was unfortunate that they weren't getting any signs as to where the real Twice was hiding, it at least gave Izumi more time to train and build up her abilities for each and different power she possessed. 

After almost 2 weeks, now January the 14th, it seems there had been some interesting sights of the duplicating villain.

"He came and met you?" Izumi asked. 

"Yes, it was something quite unexpected for me, as I wasn't sure if he knew who I truly was. It was a lot different to have a 'normal' conversation with him this time around since I know that he's changed." Briar said. 

"So what did you two talk about exactly?" Emra asked. 

"Well, I'll just explain how everything went, the entire event was strange and unexpected to say the least."

( Flashback )

As she was walking through the college; Hiroshima University, Briar would get a few hellos here and there. 

"Good morning, Miss Barsk." 

"Good morning. Hm?" 

She looked up to see a man, back facing her, standing in front of a door that was leading to her classroom. 

'That's strange, who's he?' 

She walked closer and stopped in her tracks and tilted her head to try and figure out who this man was. And after a few seconds of not figuring out who this was, she said; 

"Excuse me." 

And as the man slowly turned around to face her, she felt her blood go cold at the sight. She recognized this man right away from the large scar going down the middle of his forehead.

"Dr. Barsk, it's me, Jin." he said, with a subtle smile. 

'He's... He's here? But how? How did he know I was a teacher here? Does this mean... he knows I'm a Grim Reaper? No, don't overthink this and just act like you don't know anything.' Briar thought. 

"Jin? I almost didn't recognize you." she said with a smile. 

"Yeah- I've changed a bit since the last time I saw you, and I felt bad I suddenly disappeared and couldn't have our normal therapy sessions with you again." he said, rubbing the back of his head. 

"Oh no, you don't need to apologize, I figured you just needed some time to find yourself. So what brings you here now?" 

"Well, I wanted to catch up with you on how I've been doing." 

"Ah- I see, then let's talk inside my classroom." Briar said and walked past him and opened the door to her classroom.

"I didn't know you became a teacher until I tried looking for you." 

"Yes, I became a Psychology teacher here at this college just a few months after you stopped coming for your therapy sessions." Briar said. 

"I got it, I had to ask around to figure out where you went since you don't do therapy sessions anymore." Jin said. 

"No, not as often as I used to. I just figured I needed a change and wanted to try out teaching, and I've been here ever since." Briar said.
