52: Clean

"Huh? What's the warning?" 

"The warning is: just don't get on this Grim Reaper's bad side." 

"Hm?"

After walking for a bit, Aster stopped in his tracks and he appeared to be looking at something. 

"Huh? Aster, what's-" 

"We're here." 

Izumi looked up at what Aster was looking at and was in awe. It was a church alright, but it was bigger than any church the greenette had seen before. 

"W-What is this place?" 

"This is the exact same church from that pamphlet. It's the Nihon Kirisuto Kyodan, otherwise known as the United Church of Christ. From the history that I know about this place, it was built in the 1940's and believe it or not, there's a Grim Reaper who rests here." Aster said.

"W-Wait- there's a Grim Reaper that lives here? But why?" 

"Ah- If I remember Lily telling me when I first met this guy, he was raised by people of the church, not sure if it was this church to be exact. But what I do know is that this Grim Reaper was a human when this specific church was created. But because he's got more-Ahem- 'Divine' powers than normal, he does things differently than the other Reapers you've met." Aster said. 

"How's he different from the other Reapers besides living in a church?" 

"Well for one, he doesn't like being called a Reaper, he gets pretty if anyone calls him that. Two; Grim Reapers are known to have a Death Scythe, but this guy's is different because it's not a Death Scythe but a Holy Cross. Third; there is only one instance where he calls something a spirit, more on that later." 

"Wow, he really is different."

"Anyway, we're wasting time so let's get you inside. Oh wait-" Aster stopped and reached in his pocket and pulled out what looked to be a Jade bracelet. 

"Uh- why do you need something like that?" 

"I don't, but you do." 

"Huh?" 

"I'm not allowed to enter this church for a specific reason, which I'll tell you once you're finished inside. But if you keep this bracelet on, they'll know that you're granted permission inside. It's the only way you can talk to the Reaper here, but just remember that you can't call them a Grim Reaper, call him 'Saint'. I know this all sounds weird, but just trust me and you'll be fine." Aster said, placing the bracelet on her wrist. 

"Um... okay..." Izumi said and looked at the Jade bracelet and entered the church by herself.

Izumi was in awe as they walked through the place, it was empty, but the aura felt clean and warm. 

"Wow- this place is really pretty!" 

As they were walking through the main entrance, Izumi heard the sound of something cracking, she could feel a slight rumble for the ground and soon saw pebbles of marble fall from the ceiling. 

She slowly looked up and her eyes went wide to see a pair of Jade Green eyes staring at her. But that wasn't the only thing staring at her, as she looked closer at this pair of eyes, she saw a large figure, sharp teeth, scales, claws and then a tail. 

"Ah- is that-" She figured out that she was staring directly at a Dragon, a Dragon that was completely Jade Green.

The Dragon squinted their eyes and soon their Jade Green eyes turned Flaming Red and it dropped from the ceiling.
