146: Finish What You Started

Katsuki was running through the streets–now as a dog–and sniffing the air as often as he could to try and follow the scent of the greenette. 

'C'mon Deku, where are you?' 

He turned one corner and instantly the scent got stronger, so his ears perked up and he started following the trail he was getting led to. The next corner he turned and he was surprised to see Izumi, a man with Black hair and Deep Purple eyes, and a Royal Blue and White Nine-Tailed Fox. 

'Deku.' 

Katsuki poofed back into his human form and started running towards the greenette until he was immediately stopped by the man. 

"De-" 

"Halt." 

Katsuki glared at the man and then turned his eyes to see the fox. 

"Why can't I get any closer? I need to take Deku with me and-" 

"She is in a state that your voice will not reach her right now." the man said.

"Who the hell are you?" 

"I am Sirius Sombre, and I'm a close friend to Iris. Now if you don't want to listen to me, that's one thing, but you cannot disrupt Izuku right now." Sirius said. 

"And why?" 

"Because she is talking to the past users of One for All." Sirius answered. 

"Why's that so important right now when we need to-" 

"She came here on her own accord." Sirius interrupted. 

"What?" 

"Izuku had asked for help from Iris, and because I knew where Iris was located, I brought her here. I believe this is the last resort to find out what Izuku can do to fight against the user of All for One." Sirius explained.

Izumi slowly opened her eyes to see the past users of One for All in front of her, and most of them sitting in their designated thrones like she'd last seen them. 

"Looks like you've made a last minute choice on seeing us." Daigoro noted. 

"Shouldn't you be facing Shigaraki right now, why are you here?" All Might asked. 

"Because... I wanna know how all of you managed to get One for All from the previous user. I want to know the truth." Izumi answered. 

"How we all got the power of One for All? Is that really important right now?" En asked. 

"It is... because I just want to confirm something." Izumi stated. 

"Hah- though most of us are spirits–and since I was the original owner of One for All–it would make sense for me to explain." the man in the certain throne said. Izumi didn't know what kind of answer she was going to get, but she needed to know the answers.

"First and foremost, there was a time when I was a human, and my name was Yoichi Shigaraki. Though I have basically accepted death as a sign of freedom from my brother–All for One–it seemed I was mistaken and I became a Spirit shortly after I died. Though I'd questioned why I was given the life to be a Spirit, I figured that it was a sign to eventually try and rebel against my brother and confront him once and for all. Though I was a weak human and just as weak as a Spirit, I knew that if I built my own army–my own creation–it was possible to rid my brother from this world. At first, I was worried on how to create an army, but after meeting the right people..." 

He paused and glanced over at the men that were facing away from the thrones and then looked up at Izumi.

"I figured it's only possible to find the right person to be the army instead. So... I gave my power to them by giving them my Spiritual DNA for them to use it when they could and then pass that power down to the next Spirit that was willing to fight with us. And after passing that torch down, our power managed to get to the hands of Toshinori." Yoichi said, and glanced over to All Might.
