158: Somehow

"Umm... What happened to you two while we were gone?" Shoto asked.

As both Shoto and Katsuki were speechless as they stood in front of both Izumi and Yaoyorozu as both of them were soaking wet in their Police uniforms. 

"Hah- it's really easy to explain, it's just that neither of us were expecting it to happen." Yaoyorozu answered.

( Flashback )

After 3 more hours of doing field work for the day and luckily no events took place, Izumi and Yaoyorozu were ready to find and meet up with Katsuki and Shoto again. 

"I haven't had to do field work this long before, I'm just lucky nothing back happened." Izumi stated. 

"It's usually like that, but we haven't heard if Todoroki or Bakugo got into any trouble yet." Yaoyorozu answered. 

"That's true." 

"Hey, why don't you and Bakugo join me and Todoroki for dinner tonight?" she suggested. 

"Eh? D-Dinner? A-Any reason why?" 

"Well, you and Bakugo haven't been working for the Police that long, and I think we could congratulate you two." she stated. 

'Yeah, but it's not like me and Kacchan have done anything successful really.' Izumi thought.

"C'mon Midoriya." Yaoyorozu paused as she grabbed the greenette's hands. 

"This could help you and Bakugo get closer like you two used to be, what d'you think?" Izumi blushed at the thought and knew she was right. 

"I guess... dinner isn't that much of a bad idea." the greenette mumbled. 

"Great! I'm sure Bakugo wouldn't mind either, so let's go find them!" Yaoyorozu exclaimed as she seemed really happy with the greenette complying with the idea. 

As Izumi was about to say something, she paused her thoughts and looked around from where they were standing. 

"Hm? What's wrong, Midoriya?" 

"Yaoyorozu... Do you hear something?" Izumi asked, looking around. 

"Hear something, like what?" 

"Like... something's about to explode."

Sure enough, just as the greenette said those words, a large sewage pipe exploded right next to them and sewage water went everywhere! 

"A pipe burst?!?!" 

And the water didn't just go everywhere, as it also splashed and washed over the two women like a shower. Both froze as they felt the water hit them and it didn't take long for them to smell themselves as it was foul and practically burned their noses. 

"Seriously, just when nothing bad happens and now a pipe bursts?!?" Izumi exclaimed. 

"I-It's okay, at least it was a pipe bust and not- Oh- I'm just not gonna say anything. Let's just talk to someone about this and hopefully we can go find Todoroki and Bakugo afterwards." Yaoyorozu noted.

"U-Umm... Yaoyorozu." 

"Hm?" 

"I-I think... you're gonna have to talk to someone, I don't think I have the courage with how I look right now." Izumi mumbled. 

"Huh? Why? What's-" 

Yaoyorozu turned back to look at the greenette and realized what the greenette meant. Poor Izumi was standing there–soaking wet in sewage water–holding her arms over her chest as her shirt was easily see through to the point that her underwear could easily be seen.
