18: Adrenaline Rush

"Don't touch my dog." Izumi said with an intense glare.

'De...ku...' Katsuki tried to get up, but his body was so numb from the intense shock. 

"You little- I'm sick and tired of you, you stupid little peasant!" Mustard yelled and stormed right towards the greenette who was still on the ground. 

Izumi saw him still holding the long shock stick and knew exactly what to do at this point. 

"Why can't you just die!?!?!?" Mustard yelled and slammed the shock stick towards, only for him to miss. 

Izumi quickly shifted her body away from the shock stick and right in the nick of time, before Mustard could try again, she instantly pulled out her own taser and directed it right at his stomach.

He jolted over and over from the strong shock until he finally fell back and laid unconscious. 

"Hah- just because you have a bad spirit inside of you- doesn't mean you're immortal." Izumi mumbled as she dropped her hand and could finally catch her breath. 

"That's done... cuffs- I need to cuff them." she said, and looked through her pockets to find two pairs of cuffs and cuffed the villains as soon as she could. 

Once that was done, it seemed like her body was more tired than usual, as she could feel her entire body shaking. 

"Oh man, that was scary... wasn't it, Ka- Kacchan!" she yelled and ran towards the dog as he still laid on the ground.

She was scared to touch him, she was afraid that the worst came to reality. 

"Oh please... please be okay..." she mumbled as she slowly reached her hand to touch the dog's stomach and felt a slow heartbeat. 

"Kacchan..." 

She leaned her head down and watched as the dog opened his eyes and started licking her face. 

"Ack! Kacchan! Are you... okay?" she said. 

The dog whimpered and she rested her head on his. 

"Please... please don't tell me it's bad. I wasn't expecting him to tase you." she muttered, petting the dog.

Katsuki was weak and tired from the shock and getting thrown, but just feeling the greenette's soft touch and her calm voice made the pain fade. 

'This really is the same Deku... the same stupid... annoying... and nice Deku from when we were kids...' he thought and leaned his head onto her lap. 

"Don't worry, the Police should be here any minute. Let's just lie down and wait for them to come." Izumi said as she laid down next to the dog, held his paw and closed her eyes. 

Katsuki laid next to the sleeping greenette as small drops of water formed in her eyes. 

'Hah- you're still the same little crybaby too, but that's okay...' he thought as he tried to lift his head and lick her tears away. 

'I'll protect you.'

Just before the Police had yet to arrive, a woman with bright Red hair and Purple, almost Black, eyes walked into the abandoned building. And along with this woman was a man with Royal Blue hair and brown eyes walking behind her. 

"Well what do we have here? Looks to me we've got a couple bad spirits that need to be extracted." the woman said. 

"It's been a while since you've had to extract a spirit from possessing a human body, isn't it, Lily?" the man said.
