123: Guided by the Stars

"That's... Duncan?" Izumi murmured.

"Took you long enough, Duncan." Takashi said with a smile. 

"Nah- I thought I was trailing him at a pretty good speed." Duncan said, resting the large Ax on his shoulder. Kurogiri looked to see his Master–Kyudai–on the ground, and though he was still moving and alive, it was still a strong and heavy blow done by Duncan. 

"What did you do?" 

"That's easy, someone had to follow this crazy guy, had to me I guess. So once this guy was on the top floor, I easily stopped him doing what he was planning on doing. Looks like that attack of mine also managed to take out those creepy goons of his too." Duncan said. 

Izumi and Katsuki looked around the floor and noticed that Duncan was right as his attack had caused all the Nomus to now lie on the ground unconscious.

'He managed to weaken all of the Nomus, but how? What kind of power is that? It doesn't matter, I must get my Master out of here before this turns worse.' Kurogiri thought. 

He turned his head and noticed how Izumi was still alive and managed to get away from his Black Hole. 

'But if I escape with my Master now, I won't get another chance to finally get rid of that annoying human! This is the only time I will properly get rid of that human once and for all!' Kurogiri thought.

"Good save, Duncan, Izuku was about to warp into a Black Hole before you got back." 

"Oh really, I didn't even notice." Duncan chuckled. 

'What the hell's up with these two guys?' Katsuki thought. 

'They seem so calm about all of this, they really are different from what I expected.' Izumi thought with a sigh. 

But before they could even think of getting back to business, Izumi strangely felt her body getting pulled through the air again. 

"Ack- is that-" 

Izumi jerked her head around to see a much bigger and stronger Black Hole. 

"Another one?!?!" 

"Deku!!!" 

"Wait- don't try to save her on this one." Takashi said, holding Katsuki back again. 

"What?!? But Deku will get pulled into that thing faster than the other one." 

"No she's not, because one of us can stop that Black Hole from taking her." Takashi said. 

"Huh?"

Before Katsuki could think of who it could be, Duncan pushed the large Ax off his shoulder and slammed the Ax straight into the ground, causing a giant earthquake of light pushing towards the Black Hole. In mere seconds, the earthquake of light hit the Black Hole and forced the whirlpool to get smaller until it was nothing. 

"What?" 

'That light... it stopped the Black Hole from pulling me and caused it to disappear. Does Duncan... can Duncan use light and shadow powers?' Izumi thought. 

"Geez, I don't think you should try and make another Black Hole, I'm just gonna destroy it right away." Duncan said, resting the large Ax on both his shoulders.

'Impossible! No one's managed to destroy my whirlpools no matter how big or small they were. This is not going as planned at all.' Kurogiri thought. 

"Now that you know that much, Izuku!"
