Izumi's eyes widened as this was the face of someone she hadn't seen in 7 years.

"Ka... Ka... cchan...?"

( Meanwhile )

"Hah- after looking at all the past cases that involve snake spirits, I couldn't find anything that dealt with this kind of poison." Anastasia said, dropping the files on Chevy's desk. 

"It's not often we get something this stumped." Chevy said. 

"Agreed, just reminds me of that missing person report we got 7 years ago." Anastasia said. 

"Which you clearly need to remember that Aster told us what happened to that person, he ended up becoming Midoriya's dog." Chevy said. 

"I still question how that happened. Just because we know more about the Special Case doesn't mean we've figured everything out. Hah- how did things get so hectic in a hurry?" Anastasia said, rubbing her eyes.

"It seems you two have been working hard." 

Chevy and Anastasia froze and quickly looked up to see Emra; AKA the Emerald Dragon, walking into the office. 

"Ah- Emerald Dragon, you're here-" 

"Yes, it seems you two are constantly working." Emra said. 

"Mn. We're still trying to figure out a member of the League case." 

"Ah- you mean the one that was found deceased? I heard about that, it seems you two are having a hard time?" Emra asked. 

"Yes, but we'll be looking through everything until then." Chevy said.

Emra looked around and didn't see the greenette anywhere. 

"And where is Izuku?" 

"Ah- she left for the day just a few hours ago. Which reminds me- Chev, why'd you decide to take it upon yourself for Izumi to get a new partner?" Anastasia asked. 

"New partner?" 

"It's just a punishment since she decided to go to the Spirit Realm without any authority-" 

"Is it really necessary for my 'cousin' to have authority to go into the Spirit Realm?" Emra interrupted. Chevy practically forgot Emra was Izumi's 'cousin', he bit his tongue right away. 

"No- No, it isn't necessary now." Chevy said. 

"Then why'd you choose a partner that can't see spirits?" Anastasia asked.

Chevy and Emra looked at her, what'd she say? 

"What?" 

"Hah- Neito can't see spirits. He was stating that what we were doing was ridiculous and didn't help with the investigation at all today. Not like he would've been any help to begin with since he was pretty cocky from the start." Anastasia said. 

Emra looked at Chevy and Chevy averted from her gaze. 

"Right, I'll look into it in the morning." Chevy said. 

"Quite strange for you to recruit someone who can't see spirits, that's the main purpose of working at this station. And though I didn't know if Izuku could see spirits either, it was more helpful knowing after what he's gone through to-" 

Emra stopped mid-sentence and her left eye went wide.

In a flash, she saw what looked to be a Red thread, and it appeared to have snapped. Emra remembered when she and Lily had last talked and how Lily ended up doing what she did to Izuku.
