13: No Regrets

"Because, the last time I did... I lost my legs in the process." Katsuki froze. 

"You... did what?" 

"Not gonna really go into all the details, but I was trying to save some people and ended up transforming into a Shisa, and I basically risked my life while doing it. I was lucky that I was alive after it happened, but since I'm still and always have been a human, it doesn't mean I can't feel anything. They said the nerves in my legs were fried to the point that they turned black, so they had no choice but to amputate them. That happened a little over 2 years ago and I've yet to try and use my Spiritual Powers ever since." Aster said. 

Katsuki was speechless, though he didn't know this guy, it was still surprising to know that he's been through a lot.

"So let's focus this back on you, and I wanna know how exactly you turned into a dog spirit to begin with." Aster said. 

"Oh... well..." 

So, Katsuki explained everything and Aster listened in silence and took everything in. 

"I see, so you met a stranger just when you were about to be killed, they decided to basically change your fate and you ended up as a dog stuck in the Spirit Realm for 5 years and escaped... how?" 

"Like I said, a Nine-Tailed Fox showed me the way out and I came back here, but was immediately taken to an animal shelter since I was a stray dog." Katsuki said.

"Hmm, it's unfortunate that I don't really know all the Nine-Tailed Fox's all that well. I've met different ones in the past, but is there anything you can tell me about the one you met?" Aster asked. 

Katsuki tried to remember seeing that fox from 2 years ago and could remember seeing what looked to be blue fur. 

"Blue... fur..." Katsuki said. 

"Blue fur, huh? Well you're in luck, I know that one." Aster said. 

"You do?" 

"Mn. Unfortunately, I have no idea how often they come to the Human Realm. I'm sure if I ask my boss, they could tell me." Aster said. 

"Huh? Your boss? Why the hell would you ask your boss about a Nine-Tailed Fox?" 

"Oh, because my boss is a Grim Reaper."

( Scene Change )

Right outside of the college Hiroshima University, there appears to be a flower shop called; Lily's of the Valley. Inside this said flower shop is a woman with bright Red hair and Purple, almost Black, eyes. 

The sound of water flowing out of the water hose and each and every potted plant soaked in refreshments. 

"Where's Aster, I can't believe he's been practically skipping work right now. I tried calling him, but even that won't do now. What's his problem?" she said to herself.

"Well you seem to be in a foul mood." a voice said. 

The redhead turned her head and sighed. 

"Hah- what do you want, Iris?" she said, sounding annoyed, as she looked to see a White and Blue Nine-Tailed Fox. 

The fox shifted and grew in size to a human and there stood a woman with Royal Blue hair and Amber eyes. 

"I was just coming to see how you've been doing. We are close friends, aren't we, Lily?" Iris said. 

"I don't need you bothering me, I'd rather it be a Tormented Soul than you." Lily said, as she continued watering the flowers.
