"Tell me, Special Case... have you ever been driven to madness?"
"I... I can't really think of a time of something like that..." Izumi answered nervously.
"That's okay... because I can show you..." Alice muttered as she lifted her gaze up to the greenette.
Izumi knew something was wrong just by staring into Alice's cold and empty eyes, and the aura in the room didn't feel light or easy anymore. It felt like the room had gotten smaller and the atmosphere was crowding around the greenette to the point that she couldn't breathe calmly anymore.
'What should I do? I've never met this Reaper before and know nothing of Reaper's acting this way!' Izumi thought.
But it was already too late, as she watched the shards of broken tea cups and plates float up from the floor and were aiming right at her.
'Oh no!'
"Don't worry, you won't feel a thing..." Alice's voice was surprisingly deep, and pointed her hand right at the greenette.
'Crap!'
The shards of glass flew right towards Izumi, and all she could in the short span of time was lunge herself to the side and hide behind a couple of chairs.
"Don't tell me you're planning on running from madness?" Alice asked, as she took slow footsteps towards the chairs Izumi was hiding behind.
'I've never had to fight a Grim Reaper, is this really what Emra meant when she said this Reaper was different from the others? But she's just a child! How can a child think this way?' Izumi thought.
"You can't hide forever~"
Izumi jerked her head to see Alice's Pale blonde hair creeping and she slid her body so Alice wouldn't see her. Izumi could hear loud crashes of glass behind her, and she was lucky none of that glass hit her.
'Does this mean I seriously have to fight this Grim Reaper? But she's a complete lunatic now, who knows what else she can do! Wait-'
Izumi lifted her head up slightly and saw that Alice's Grim Reaper flower was still resting on the table.
'That's it, Grim Reapers are powerful only if they have their Death Scythe on them, and since Alice doesn't have hers at the moment, I have a chance. Though Emra said I shouldn't use my powers too much, I'll just have to try and be careful on this one. Right...'
Izumi closed her eyes and tried to focus on everything that was happening around her, and she managed to catch where Alice was standing even when she couldn't see her.
She opened her eyes and she sparked Emerald Green and jumped to her feet and–without a second– grabbed one of the chairs near her and lifted it off the ground and threw it in Alice's direction.
Alice saw the chair flying right at her, and she swiftly shuffled her body to the side to dodge the chair in time. And though she might've dodge that chair, she couldn't dodge the second chair since she wasn't paying attention.
She stumbled back a few feet and looked up to see the greenette sparking Emerald Green and her fists were clenched tightly.
"Alright Alice, if you wanna show me what madness is, then I'll just have to understand it too. That means I'll just have to fight you to understand!" Izumi exclaimed.
"Hmph, you don't know real madness, Special Case."
"We'll see..."
