160: Peaches

( Later that night; it's Midnight. )

Izumi lied there wide awake in bed and couldn't get that hug Katsuki gave her just hours ago. It reminded her of their past life and the times when it wasn't just hugs or kisses, but when it was more than both those things. 

She batted her eyes over and over just thinking of those sweet memories and then getting reminded that Katsuki had actually hugged her in this life too! 

'This is ridiculous, every time I try to close my eyes and go to sleep, all I can see is Kacchan and the memories of our past life! Is it that hard to get some sleep that my past life has to haunt me like this?!?!' she yelled in her head.

She sighed and felt a small growl coming from her stomach. 

'Huh? Am I hungry already? Well I didn't really eat that much for dinner since Kacchan basically almost saw me nak- Let's go find the kitchen and get something to sleep and maybe that will help me get some sleep!' she thought as she sat up from her bed and pushed the covers away. 

She left her room and tried to remember where the kitchen was, but it didn't really help that it was pretty dark in the halls that she had to use her phone as a flashlight most of the time. 

'Why is this place so big? I knew Yaoyorozu's parents were rich, but not to the point that their home is a giant castle!'

After some time of wandering the place, she finally managed to get to the kitchen and looked around to see what she could find. 

'I don't need something too filling, just something simple. What could I snack on that will help me get back to-' 

The greenette turned her head and her eyes laid on a fruit basket that was sitting on the kitchen island, and she specifically saw some Peaches. 

'Peaches? When's the last time I had a Peach to snack on? Mmmh... Just one wouldn't hurt since I was craving something sweet.' she thought as she grabbed one and silently washed the piece of fruit.

Right as she was about to take a bite from the Peach, the lights in the kitchen flashed on and she realized right away that she was busted. 

"Midoriya?" 

The greenette slowly turned her body to see Shoto standing at the light switch and his eyebrows were raised. 

"Ack! T-Todoroki, what a surprise! I didn't think you'd come here so late at night!" Izumi said as she quickly hid the Peach behind her back. 

"Nor was I, but I couldn't sleep and thought I should get something to drink. I assume you were here just to get a late night snack?" he asked, glancing down to see the Peach in her hand behind her back. 

"I-I- Hah- I couldn't really get any sleep either..." she exhaled.

"I see... then why don't I make some tea for the both of us?" Shoto suggested. She wasn't sure if she heard that right and batted her eyes at him. 

"P-Pardon?" 

"Ever since me and Yaoyorozu started dating, Yaoyorozu taught me how to make tea and which tea is best for the situation. I've had times where I'll wake up in the middle of the night and make some tea to help me sleep." Shoto said as he walked up to one of the cabinets that was filled with different shapes and styles of tea boxes. 

'How many different kinds of teas are there?!?!' Izumi thought. 

Shoto looked through the cabinet and grabbed a certain box and grabbed a kettle and filled it with water and started boiling the water over the stove.
