66: Snapped

While Izumi was in the Chief's office and having to answer everything that happened when she and Katsuki dealt with Mr. Compress, Katsuki was outside the office and having to wait for the greenette. Though he wanted to leave and just come back, he still didn't have a phone to communicate with Izumi so he just stayed at the Station. 

He thought it was fine at first, until Neito appeared and started bragging to the other Officers about how and why he got dispatched to this Station in particular. 

'Tch- that asshole again, does he ever shut up?' he thought.

Neito glanced over to see Katsuki just standing there and he smirked. 

"Hmph, it seems Midoriya's new partner's here again. And what's this, though you're her new partner, you can't go in the Chief's office with her? It seems like you're not much of a great partner to be working in this field." Neito said. 

'Tch- jackass, you're the one that can't see spirits like I can.' Katsuki thought. 

"Looks like Midoriya hasn't changed, she's still as reckless and obtuse as always, and if it were me, she'd have been gone from this Station a long time ago." Neito said. 

Though it was one thing for Katsuki to call Izumi stupid, it was another if he heard other people calling Izumi stupid.

"Who're you to talk? You can't even see spirits and want to involve yourself in what's happening with the League." Katsuki said, glaring at him. 

"Oh? So you can see the Supernatural, that means you're just as strange as the rest of them. But did you know, the reason I was dispatched here was to take Midoriya's place." Neito said with a devilish grin. 

Katsuki grit his teeth and turned his entire body to face him. 

"What?" he snarled.

"It's only fitting that they have me dispatched here to take someone's place. And from all the rumors I've heard, once this stupid League is down, then Midoriya will be gone and I'll be taking her place. Oh- if only you knew her like I did in high school; she was so delirious about the real world and was always trying to be the best. It was pretty annoying, always trying to be the main character of the story, only to end up getting in trouble and causing the rest of us to do damage control." Neito said. 

'This jackass, now he's starting to piss me off, he doesn't know Deku like I do.' Katsuki thought. 

"If only she wasn't so cute." Katsuki froze and looked up at Neito. 

"What did you say?" 

"She's got a cute face, but everything behind that is as blank as a canvas."

Izumi sat in Chevy's office and could tell how pissed off her Chief was. 

"So... were you guys able to find another member of the League?" Izumi asked nicely. 

"Hah- don't try to beat around the bush, Midoriya. We already know that you got involved with taking down and detaining Mr. Compress. What we really want to know is how you were able to find him." Chevy said. 

"Right... well it's not like I wasn't expecting to find him, it was more like he found me." Izumi said. 

"What d'you mean, Izumi?" 

"I mean, Mr. Compress captured me, and he held me captive on a train along with a lot of other innocent people. I don't know why he wanted to capture me, but I do know that the League was trying to create another army again." Izumi said.
