I know year 2020 has already come and gone for us...
The air around the Arena was tense when Azrael arrived. He expected to find the rest of their siblings waiting for a grand show of speed versus skill. Instead it was silent.
"Raguel where are—?"
Raguel turn to him and summoned his Light Spear spinning the weapon before slamming the blade into the stone floor. "They won't be observing this battle. It's just you and me. No distractions, no Raz and Daz, no wings, no levitation, and lastly—No Soul Chains."
Azrael's jaw unhinged. "What?! Oh come on!"
"Shall I add no whining to the list?"
Azrael clamped his jaw shut and glared at him as he was trying to figure out the purpose for this many stipulations.
Raguel however, stared him down in a way that had Azrael immediately in a fighting stance.
Raguel chuckled approvingly.
"Good, let's see how fast you are little brother when you're in the presence of a raging coal fire!"
Raguel heated the ground and in retaliation Azrael froze it. The drastic change in temperature resulted in an explosion centered around the Light Spear that was fifteen feet in the air. Raguel jumped and kicked his Light Spear towards Azrael...

The Light Spear rapidly spun towards Azrael and to Azrael's shock he barely dodged it!

He spun in midair and landed into a skidding crouch on the solid sheet of ice he created over the rubble.
