Aciano started speaking he shrunk down to his nine year old form.

"It started out like any other day. I was doing my daily routine when I overheard Auntie Lizzie saying she'd be needing help later in the day to check up on the retired birdies. Cuz some of them were close to molting, but she was to busy with things to do it. So, I figured I'd go to check up on the old birdies for Auntie Lizzie, which I never really did before...but I wanted to be helpful..."

Aciano sighed heavily as he closed his eyes and turned into his sixteen year old form.

"As you all know...it didn't end well."

He paused and looked down at his lap. Everyone watched as Aciano started twiddling his thumbs to help calm himself down when they all knew he was struggling to formulate his now racing thoughts into something less...chaotic.

Aciano's Mental Thought Process...

(This part is all kept solely within Aciano's own mind as he struggles to formulate his thoughts and feelings before telling them about what happened in the aviary.)

It had started out as a pretty normal day for Aciano Ramirez. Though most days now were different as to how it had been for him in the beginning of his stay at Castle Dread.

During the early days it was nice...the Castle felt alive in a way that made Aciano happy. The people within it also made him happy. Still do...

It felt familiar, but not in a way that made him feel sad or nostalgic for a life he didn't remember.

He can't really place anything in the constructs of emotional understanding, especially when he can't even remember why it is he should be feeling like this in the first place? Now can he????

In short, he just feels happy. It was as simple as that—being happy.

When he wasn't playing the role of a carefree child Aciano was trying to track down as much information on his past as he could get his hands on. Organizing everything he learned or thought he remembered into a journal, but even that was an extremely difficult task for him to undertake.

How do you know if something is a memory, when you don't even remember what it's like to recall the past?

Worse is when you can't even recall the simplest of details of faces or put the face to a name of people that you're trying to remember?

The people might as well just be called person 1 and person 2.

His journals got cluttered up really quickly and once Master Tepes introduced him to paints he was finally able to put his words down onto in a more visual art medium.

Sometimes he gets headaches when he believes he was on the brink of remembering something.

Sometimes images just liked to pop into his head while speaking, but it was gone as soon as the words left his mouth leaving him even more confused than he was before.

It wasn't all for not though.

He's learned many things in his afterlife living under the protective care the Tepes-Dread family, and one of those things is weeding out the usefulness of rumors.

Rumors go around everywhere, and it can either raise a person up or drag a person down. He's got enough ammunition nowadays to sink that Gossip Blogger Velvet's entire career into taking a long overdue retirement!
