Sodapop part 2

"How did I never notice?" He had his eyebrows furrowed.

"What?"

"How much I love you." I stared at him for a moment thinking about what to say. I love him. I have for a while but I'm sure he doesn't love me.

"You don't love me." I said and gave him a small smile and he looked at me confused. "You've just got a broken heart right now."

"That's not why I'm saying that. I really love you!" He yelled the last part.

"Okay. Tell me again when you're over Sandy but until then can we be best friends again?" I smiled hopefully. Sodapop smiled in return and walked over and hugged me.

"Yeah. We can be best friends again." He said. "And I'll tell you again. Don't worry." He winked. I payed for my drink then left. Of course I had to go back on cause I couldn't get it open but whatever. I ended up hanging out with soda again and we were just as close as we were before we had that fight.

**Sodas POV**

I don't think (Y/n) understands how much I love her. We've been hanging out again. I didn't realize just how much I've missed being around her. All of the gang knows that I really like her and I think I'm over Sandy. I'll tell her again and she'll know it wasn't just because I had a broken heart. Right now I'm talking to the gang about it.

"I don't think that's the only reason she doesn't believe you love her though." Two-Bit said.

"What do you mean." I asked confused.

"A few days ago when we were at some party she got completely wasted and I asked her why she didn't." We all stared at him waiting to hear what she said. "She told me she was just hard to love. Simple as that."

"Well I'm gonna tell her today. I just hope she likes me." I decide to take a shower before work and to think about how I should tell (Y/n). When I got out of the shower I wrapped a towel around my waist and sat down on the couch. As soon as I did that (Y/n) walked in.

"Hello hello." She winked and laughed as she walked to the kitchen. She has such an adorable laugh.

"Ya gonna hang out at the DX with me today?" I asked and smiled at her.

"Yeah but I think you're gonna have to put some clothes on before we go." She smiled taking the cake from Two-Bit.

"Hey!" He yelled.

"Sharing is caring!" She yelled in return. I went to my room to throw some clothes on and heard them arguing the whole time. Once I was done (Y/n), Steve, and I walked to the DX. When we got there Steve went to the garage and (Y/n) stayed with me at the counter. We were laughing and joking around and I decided to tell her.

"I gotta tell ya something."

"What?" She smiled. She is always smiling. I don't know how she does it. Just as I was about tell her someone came into the DX. Sandy. Why is she here?

"Soda!" She yelled and ran up to me. (Y/n) frowned.

"Only employees are allowed behind the counter." I said coldly.

"Soda babe. I came back for you."

"Don't call me babe and I don't like you anymore."

"Who do you like then?" She said getting mad. I didn't answer but looked at (y/n). "You like her?!"

"Actually I love her." I stated. Sandy was so mad it looked like smoke was about to come out her ears. She stormed out of the DX muttering things under her breathe.

"Did ya really mean that?" (Y/n) asked quietly.

"Yeah. I did." I said just as quietly. She stared at me for a minute and it looked like she was studying me. Then she smiled.

"I love you too." I smiled and walked over to her resting my forehead on hers.

"Ya mean it?"

"Yeah. I do." She smiled. Just as I was about to kiss her I heard click we both looked to the side and saw Steve with a camera.

"About damn time y'all got together." He smiled and handed me the camera. I looked at picture and smiled. I'm keeping this forever.
