This one is for @KrazyKoolKyla. I hope you like it(:

I sighed as I got up and started getting ready for work. Who am I working with today? I really hope it's Sodapop and Steve. The other two are really boring. Plus I sorta have a crush on Steve. I walked into work to see Soda looking tired at the counter.

"Ronni!" He yelled and gave me a hug as I came around the counter.

"Soda!" I yelled in return.

"Somebody brought a car for you to work on." He said as I walked into the garage. I nodded in reply. I saw two cars in the garage and Steve was working on one.

"Hiya Stevie." I smiled. Steves head shot up causing him to hit his head on the hood of the car.

"Ow!" I stifled a laugh and smiled when he finally looked at me. "Hey Ronni." He said his cheeks turning a slight shade of red.

"You okay?" I giggled.

"Yeah. I'm fine." He smiled. I really wish Steve liked me, but he obviously only likes me as a friend. The day was rather boring. Every now and the Soda and I would switch places. Soda seemed to be teasing Steve about something, every time I would go back into the garage Soda would be laughing while Steve looked annoyed. "It's almost closing time. You nearly done?"

"Yeah. Just give me a minute." I replied still under the car. Once I finished I rolled out from under the car to see Steve standing above me. "Hey there."

"Hey." He said with a smirk.

"Can I help.." He interrupted me rubbing a greasy hand over my face. "You did not just do that!" I gasped.

"Oh but I did." He laughed. This resulted in a huge grease/oil between us. I threw some oil at him and it splattered across his face. This went on for about five more minutes until Soda walked. Steve and I froze while Soda just stared at us.

"I'm not helping you clean this up." He looking at all the oil and grease.

"Eh." Steve said. "It'll be fine."

"I'm gonna go clean up." I laughed and walked to bathroom. I started washing the grease off my face when I heard the boys talking.

"You've got it bad." Soda laughed.

"Got what?" Steve asked confused.

"You are heads over heels for that girl! Why won't you just admit it?" Soda exclaimed.

"Fine! I like her!" Steve yelled and I smiled. "But she only likes me as a friend. I don't wanna make things awkward and ruin our friendship."

"I knew it!" Soda yelled and I could just picture Steve rolling his eyes. "I think you should take a chance. I'll bet she likes you."

"She's just to perfect for me. She'd never go for a guy like me. I'm not good enough." I then decided I would come out now.

"Can someone give me a ride home?" I asked as I walked back and started helping them close. I saw Soda nudge Steve and smile.

"I will." Steve said with a small smile. Once we got closed up I followed Steve out to his truck.

"Thanks for the ride." I kissed his cheek and went to open the door, but he stopped me.

"Wait." He grabbed my hand. "Do you wanna go out with me sometime this week? Like a date?" He asked nervously.

"Yeah." I smiled. "If really like that." Steve grinned.

"Then I'll call you later with details."

"Okay." I happily gig out of the car. I can't believe he actually asked me out!
