I smiled to myself as we walked back to his car hand in hand. This morning I didn't think he would even remember me and now he's my boyfriend. This has no doubt been the best day of my life.

"I think we just walked in a circle." I laughed.

"No we haven't." Steve replied.

"Oh really?" I questioned. "Well why don't you look over there?" I pointed. He looked over and there stood the treehouse.

"Oh. I guess we did." I laughed and ft something wet hit my cheek. Great. It's raining. We started running trying to find where we came from since it was now pouring. It took about ten minutes but we finally found it. When we jumped in the car we were both soaked. "Well. I didn't think that would happen." Steve stated out the window.

"Yeah me either." I said chattering my teeth.

"Oh are you cold?"

"No," I said sarcastically. "I'm hot." He laughed and then threw a flannel at me. I switched shirts and then put my hair into a messy bun on top of my head. I looked over and saw Steve smiling.

"What are you smiling about?" I rose an eyebrow.

"You. " He laughed.

"Me?"

"You're just adorable." He continued to laugh.

"I know." I winked.

"Well aren't you just modest." We quickly drove back to my house so I wouldn't be late for supper.

"Are you gonna stay and eat?" I asked as he pulled up to my house.

"If you want me to."

"Yay." I smiled. As we walked into the house the oven started beeping. "Perfect timing."

"Oh are you staying for supper Steve?" My mother asked walking out of the kitchen.

"If you don't mind."

"Of course I don't mind! I made a lot of food." She said happily. She made burgers and mashed potatoes. We all sat down and started eating. My parents were catching up with Steve so I kinda zoned out.

"So are you dating anyone right now?" My dad asked. Steve looked at me nervously before answering.

"Actually I'm dating your daughter." My dad stopped eating and stared at Steve.

"Your what?" Steve shifted in his seat.

"I am dating Izzy." Steve grabbed my hand under the table. We nervously looked at my dad and he suddenly smiled.

"Your dad owes me twenty bucks." He smiled and continued eating.

"What?" I asked. "You made a bet on us?" My mom gave my dad a dirty look.

"What? It was obvious you'd get together! We just made a bet on when it'd happen!" Was it really that obvious? Am I the only one who didn't notice?

**Steves POV**

Wow. I really thought that he was going to get mad at me for a second. After we got done eating we watched some TV together and then I had to go.

"I gotta go babe. I'll call you later." I kissed her cheek and went to leave.

"Ok. You better call me!" She laughed. I walked down to the Curtis' to tell Soda everything that happened. God I hope I'm with her for the rest of my life.
