"How come I've never met your friends?" I asked Dally even though I knew it would start a fight but that's just a skill girls have. Making a fight out of nothing.
"Are we seriously gonna do this tonight?" He groaned.
"Yes. We are. And I'm gonna do it til I get an answer out of you!"
"I've given you an answer!"
"'Cause' is not an answer Dallas!" I rolled my eyes. "Are you embarrassed by me?" I asked quietly kind of hoping he didn't hear me.
"Of course not sugar." He said giving me a soft look. He almost never gets angry with me which is a surprise cause he gets mad easily. "I just don't want my friends thinking I've gone soft."
"Then don't act soft when they're around."
"Shoot I could never treat you like I did the other girls around them." He smiled at me. "But I have told them about you."
"Really?" I smiled and scooted closer to him on the couch.
"Yeah." He replied pulling me into his lap and wrapping his arms around my waist.
"What'd you tell them?" I smiled again. Anyone who knew both me and Dally would be surprised that we were dating. I'm always happy and smiling while he's mean and always scowling.
"Well I told them who you were." He looked at me and I gave him a look that said to continue. "And I told them how beautiful you are. How you're a good influence. How you keep me grounded. And I complain that you're to happy." I laughed.
"Well you got used to it." I kissed him. "Wanna go do something?"
"Sure. What do you wanna do?"
" I dunno. We could walk around town some I guess." We walked out side and I folded my arms. "It's freezing hot out here!"
"Freezing hot?" Dally furrowed his eyebrows.
"You wouldn't understand. You're not a girl." He laughed and slung his arm over my shoulder. We were walking when I looked up and saw him smoking. "Eww get that thing out of your mouth!" He sighed in defeat and threw it on the ground stepping on it.
"Happy?" He complained.
"Very." I smiled at him waiting for him to smile back. He looked at me and decided to ignore me. So I grabbed his hands and walked backwards in front of him smiling at him. Eventually he smiled back.
"Ya want a coke or somethin'?"Dally asked as we passed a gas station. The DX.
"Yes please. Want be to wait out here?" I'm pretty sure this is where his friends work.
"Nah you can come in. I don't think they work today." We walked in and apparently he was wrong because as soon as he walked in they spoke to him.
"Hey Dal. Who's the broad?" One of them asked.
"She's my girl." He sighed turning around. "I thought today was y'all's day off."
"It was until the other two decided they were the ones who needed a day off." One rolled his eyes.
"I didn't you were serious about having a girl." The other smirked. "I'm Sodapop." He smiled and stuck his hand out. "That's Steve." He pointed at the other guy.
"(Y/n)." I replied shaking his hand. I walked over to the trash can throwing a pack of cancer sticks away.
"You need another pack of cigs?" Soda asked.
"No." I smiled. "I don't smoke."
"Then who's cigs were those?" I didn't answer but looked at Dally and smiles innocently. Dally felt in his pockets while staring at me.
"Soda get me a pack." Dally glared at me.
"And add a pack of gum to that." I say grabbing a pack. Sodapop looked at Dally for approval and Dal nodded. Sodapop smiled and shook his head.
"What?" Dal asked staring at him.
"Nothin. You just really like her."
"How do you know?" I asked.
"Well the way he talked about ya and he's nice to ya." I smiled and looked at Dallas.
"Is that true?" I teased. Dally rolled his eyes and grabbed my hand.
"I gotta go. I'll see ya later Soda." I laughed and followed him. Soda said bye as we left. "Their gonna think I've gone soft."
"No." I said. "They're gonna think you have a soft spot. Big difference." Dally smiled.
"I don't know what I'd do with out you."
