I work at the Daily Double and I usually don't have to do much after everyone comes in. Sometimes I have to tell people to leave or quiet down but that's it.
"Hey there's some people sitting in the chairs that are really loud." A girl with too much make-up and skanky clothes said.
"Okay I'll go tell them to quiet down." I smiled and got up. "What do they look like?"
"It's a group of seven greasers. Trust me you'll know them." She laughed. I walked behind all the cars so I didn't get yelled at for being in the way and looked fit them. The girl was right. They really stick out. They were yelling and laughing over something.
"You boys need to quiet down." I say as I walk over to them.
"What're you gonna do to make us?" One of them said and three others laughed.
"I don't remember you guys paying." I said and they all stopped talking. "Thank you." I smiled and walked back to the paying booth. About five minutes later two of the boys came running up to the booth.
"Okay do you remember the kid that was sitting on the end next to the quiet one?" Said the one wearing a flannel.
"Yeah. Why?"
"What did you think of him?" This time it was the one with messed up teeth.
"He was cute. Why?" I repeated the question.
"You're going.." And as the he was talking the cute boy came up and pushed them away.
"I'm so sorry about them." He said with pink cheeks.
"It's alright." I smiled. "I'm (Y/n)."
"I'm Ponyboy. And yes that's my real name."
"That is such a cool name! Mines so boring." I laugh.
"I think it's cute." He smiled.
"You're just saying that." I smile. We spent the rest of the movie talking. I really like him. "Oh, you missed half the movie." I said still laughing at what he told me.
"It wasn't that good anyways." He shrugged. "Why don't you wear the uniform of you work here?"
"The uniform is ugly. I refuse to wear it." He laughed. "And they won't fire me cause I'm good with people and money."
"You wanna go out sometime?"he asked confidently.
"Yeah I would love to." I grabbed a marker and his arm. "Here's my number. Call me with details."
"Well I gotta get back to my friends." He smiled and kissed me on the cheek.
**Ponyboys POV**
I looked at my arm as I walked back to my seat.
"What took you so long?" Two-Bit asked as I walked up. "You get married or somethin'?"
"No. We were just talking." I laughed.
"Tell me you're at least taking her on a date." Steve asks.
"Yeah. I got her number too." I showed him my arm.
"You know if me and Steve hadn't gone over there then you wouldn't have gone over there and you'd still be single." Soda said.
"You should thank us." Steve added on.
"No. I'm good." I smiled and sat down by Johnny.
"So was she good?" Johnny asked.
"She was amazing! She's different from other girls." Johnny smiled.
"About time you meet a girl." He laughed.
"Me?! You're the one who needs a girl. Maybe she'll have a friend for you." He turned and looked at me.
"I'll go ask her." I ran over there before Johnny could protest. "Hey do you have a friend I could set my friend Johnny up with?" I said with a smile.
"Umm yeah. Her name is Alison." She smiled. "Double date?"
"Yeah." I said and kissed her cheek. "thanks." She laughed and I walked back to tell Johnny.
"We're going on a double date." I said and sat down.
"I hate you." He said and turned around.
"Whatever." I laughed.
